I would like to keep Cobb but there isn’t enough money to go around. Cowboys should use mid round pick to select a slot receiver that has quickness and speed but maybe not the size.

Is there a slightly slower version of Henry Ruggs that could drop down to 3rd round.

Let’s see if he gives us a discount to stay with MM. He will test the market.

Agreed. He is a nice piece to a team with very few holes. We are not that team. Plus, last year may have been a bit of fools gold with his health, as he's been banged up quite a bit in the last couple seasons. Too much talent in this draft class to be paying a 3rd receiver big $.

He needs to sign a team friendly deal. If so. Ok keep him. Especially given his history with Mc.

But yes, this is a very deep draft for receiver. Cowboys could probably legit find a spot slot receiver in the 4th round who can contribute immediately.

Fortunately for the Cowboys, this draft is said to be deep with WRs, CBs, and OTs. They should be able to stock up on talent that can contribute this year.

I say re-sign Cobb and let Cooper walk. Dallas can't commit $15M+ to Cooper, $30M+ to Dak, already committed $10.9M for Zeke in 2020, and a ton of money to the o-line.

You also have Gallup in need of a new deal in after 2021 (last year of his rookie deal) so best to have Gallup, Cobb, and draft a rookie for the WR corps.

The ONLY one's who know how much they can spend & who they wish to keep are the Jones', period.

My knee-jerk reaction would be for his QB to take a few Million less than the reported 35-40 Million to keep him, but i'm not going to do that because I'm in a State of Grace

Randall Cobb ran a 4.46 40 at the combine, when his legs were way younger. Henry Ruggs III ran a 4.28 40. Ruggs is the fastest receiver in the draft and he's way faster than Cobb.

At this point in Cobb's career, he's not going to burn you deep. He's a slot receiver, a former quarterback who is an outstanding route runner. I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, you can have both.
