Mans, womans, beleaguered fans, wards of the courts and astute football analists:

I half been reading in that thoughtful manner I half and half been considering all the viewpoints about Tony Romo, eternal gunslinger, who, as he half told us many times "has to do better."

One thing that half stopped me cold is his defenders admonishing the nonbelievers that one game does not define Romo. They is correct. One game (Sunday's) does not define Romo.

It half been his whole career in Dallas that define him. He thows into doublel and triple coverage. He half 5 pix days and he tells us in the press conference that he will correct things and, as usual, that he has to do better. But he doesn't and he regresses.

So to repeat: one game against the 49ers does not define Romo. It is his whole frigging career in Dallas that half defined him. He will never take us to another playoff game. He will never be as good and as consistent as Danny White. He does not learn the basics of not thowing into a herd of defenders. He is just a walkon QB that has showed us why he was undrafted and now has victimized a proud team.

I just wanted to get that off my astute and voluminous mind before it explode.

He had 10 ints all year long last season if he was having a 5 pick game then over 14 other games he only had 5. I will take it.

That's only because Dez is a good DB preventing more picks, he defensed about 7 last year alone.

He's had 5 pix games over his career. It's not as if his critics are making it up that he thows into double and triple coverage in inopportune times. Though I agree that one game does not define him, the 49er game made it abundantly clear that he is of that mode: a composite of erratic QBs, but this one who makes a lot of money and will, even in retirement, haunt his team and us.

You don't recall all those under thrown balls Dez had to stop and swat away from the defenders?

I recall a lot of QB who will put the ball up for their star WR to go get it. Even Aikman to Irvin. As for ints his career total are not bad heck Peyton over the same time period threw more and his little brother has put up a boat load compared to as Gimme puts a walk on compared to a 1st rounder. Romo had a bad game I have made no mistake and have put it squarely on him but this non sense of some gets to be too funny after a while.

He has and yet his int total are still less than some other top QB who were #1 picks your jab about him being a walk on? So what it has nothing to do with anything but then much of the crud you post makes no sense.

Well then let me refresh your memory, often times Dez had the defenders beat but he had to stop and come back to defend the ball. Tons of opportunities wasted. TO had the benefit of an earlier version of Romo who would often hit him in stride, Dez is stuck with leftovers. Talk about wasting somebody's career....

Too late, it half exploded.
To think that in the wreckage of the last game that his defenders are still defending the undefendable for doing the undefendable is undefendable.

Now the poor mans and womans of Farmers Branch half to pick up the remants of my big brains because your defending this rich gunslinger who dont deserve defending.
I am stunned that some still will do it but I will put that in the back burner near the leftover grits.

Jerra, bless your heart you try hard, but your extending of romo's contract might be your biggest blunder yet, making Quincy and Carp and Shante Carver seem like small potatoes that they were.

Do not respond no more, you make me think you know less than me.

Refresh yourself, I have watched every Dallas game beginning to end since 1965 I really do not need your clouded memory.

Your memory is clouded with blue colored lenses and understandably so, personally I stopped defending Romo after 2009 when I realized he's not a true elite QB, much less worthy of $100-Mill. That alone has crippled this franchise...

I'm not defending his last game, I think it was 100 percent on him. He made poor reads he threw into traffic is was a very poor outing by Romo. Having said that I have seen him have excellent outings as well but his critics blow that off it does not fit the agenda. I have no issue of calling any player out nor do I have an issue of giving any player praise for good play.

My memory is just fine. I defend any player over stupid remarks. When Romo has played bad I will say so when he plays great I will say so. If that gets reaction I don't care. I know who I am talking with people who have an opinion that amounts to nothing except in their own minds

as is making lame claims but hey what ever floats your boat.

That's cool we can agree to disagree, just take notice of the velocity of Romo's passes over the next few weeks. And then take notice of the opposing teams QB's velocity...
