He wouldn't have any supporters on this board and most likely would have been fired by now.

The only thing keeping him afloat with the Jones family and some of the fans here is his attachment to the 90s teams and the weird fetish dream some have of a former player leading us to a super bowl. Period.

So? Do you think people are easy on him? If so, you aren't reading this board or media articles.

Interesting and inescapable point...

I don't know if I agree or not, but thought provoking...

He does some things good but his record in game ending clock management situations is like 1-10. Can someone get the official record on how may games we lost under red with questionable clock management? If it's not Romo throwing a pick, it's Red's Ivy League Clock games or the defense. It's always something, seems like a big soap opera. It's so bad My wife is actually hooked now.

I'm all for ditching him but he's still around because switching head coaches every four years probably makes more sense than switching them every year or two.

The people that SHOULD be hard on him, are not. Those that cover the team every day and are asking questions at the pressers. It is a complete joke. They lob one softball after another; then JG gives these answers that are vague and boring. Are these people scared or is it just the 'way it is' in TX?

Let's be real...the defense gave up it's fourth 400 yard passing game on the season....and you guys are blaming the head coach.

I've been saying this for years. Jerry is comfortable with the Garrett family and JG is the last link to the 90s dynasty around Jerry at the moment. He just doesn't want to fire him.

Fire him, get a real HC here, a proven winner or an up and coming coach, he really just isn`t any good, that`s the honest truth.

His gametime decision and game planning are to blame... And bout our D, I really dont know who hired Kiffin and why, but Im pretty sure that Garrett should have given his ok or Kiffin wouldnt be here... (sorry for my english).

Well they gave it up because it's led by a guy Garrett lobbied to get after releasing another guy, so it's guilt by association.

The ironic thing is the turnover differential has been much better, but Garrett's offense can't capitalize, so once again, it's his fault.

....and managed four turnovers, which the offense couldn't turn into points.

I admire your loyalty to Garrett, but there comes a point where sustaining numerous improbable losses does reflect on his quality as a coach.

Heaven forbid we blame the offensive minded coach after failing to be effective on offense most of the game against the poor Lions defense. After failing to show up on offense against the Skins and Eagles. And sure ill give him a pass for not seeing a problem handing the Lions the ball back and putting it in the defenses hands after witnessing them get owned by Calvin.
