No evidence, but you don't have any either to the contrary, it's all about what you believe, you offer your OPINIONS the same way I do, I can reasonably come to the conclusion that Jimmy was the mastermind behind the Walker and Haley trades because there have been no repeats of it by Jerry himself

Refresh my memory, what brilliant trades did Jimmy make in Miami??

With that simple question, your "reasonable conclusion" about Jimmy being the "mastermind" falls apart...

Fact-- the breakup of Jimmy and Jerry came about because both men wanted credit for the team's success... this means that Jerry clearly thought that he deserved some or most of the credit ("I could win with any one of 500 coaches"), which further suggests that he had his hands in each and every one of the moves the Cowboys made back then...

Fact-- neither Jimmy nor Jerry had anywhere close to the same success after their breakup...

Reasonable conclusion-- Jimmy and Jerry worked because of the way the COLLABORATED on all the important decisions...

Bluntly, there is NO other reasonable conclusion one can make, looking at the facts...

I'm sure nothing will happen to me if your still stinkin' up this joint.

I'm only here because I listened to the mods when they issued the infractions, and conformed to the rules...

But hey, it figures you wouldn't be astute enough to figure out I was giving you good advice, that you should listen to... so go ahead and sling those insults, after all this board will be better off if you are exiled...

You have no idea who orchestrated that walker deal....the bottom line is this...Jerry with Jimmy was good...but Jerry without him tanked...until BP came along...what does tell you? its simple...Jerry does not know what he is doing...

And Jimmy tanked in Miami, without Jerry... so if your "logic" is valid, it logically follows that Jimmy also "does not know what he is doing"...

Which is quite ridiculous...

I will keep this one short and sweet.... Jerry and his meddling HAS COST US(more than once). Period.

Yes, it has... no doubt about it...

Now, name me one GM in the entire history of the league who hasn't had his share of mistakes...

Hatin' on Jerry is just an easy copout for you critics, utterly lacking in substance... more to the point, recent history seems to suggest that he's LEARNING from his past mistakes... but you critics seem curiously eager to believe that he just wants to return to those past mistakes...

Which is nothing more than mindless, biased Jerry hating... period...

Why is it that the 49ers and other teams could manage the cap and remain competitive but not the Jerry Jones Cowboys.

ROTFLMAO... could you POSSIBLY be more CLUELESS??

First off, the Niners were repeatedly penalized by the league for CHEATING on the salary cap...

But more important, the Niners have SUCKED for a long, long time now... they're 20-44 over the last 4 seasons...

And the reason WHY they've sucked these last 4 years?? Why, they got themselves in a bind with the salary cap... they're only just now emerging from cap h*ll...

Mainly because of Bill,

And who HIRED Bill??

Why, that would be the Cowboys' general manager... fellow by the name of Jerry Jones...

The difference is, those guys don't have jobs anymore. Shrewd Jerry is fire-proof.

Hatin' on Jerry

Once again conflating legitimate criticism with hate. Must you always impugn the motives of your opponents?

is just an easy copout for you critics, utterly lacking in substance...

No, the record is damning. This is more than a "slump." This is a decade's worth of treading water and outright futility.

more to the point, recent history seems to suggest that he's LEARNING from his past mistakes...

How so? Contrition is meaningless without change or accountability. Instead, the problem remains firmly (and arrogantly) in place. The man is an incompetent general manager. Until he steps down, little will improve.

but you critics seem curiously eager to believe that he just wants to return to those past mistakes...

Which is nothing more than mindless, biased Jerry hating... period...

No wonder you shill for a raving egomaniac like JJ: it's like staring into a living mirror.

If you can't see that Bill made our team better than it was when he got here you are the hopeless one.

And once again, who HIRED Bill??

I think San Fran has a good young firey coach

Who has led his team to a BRILLIANT 11-21 record over the last 2 seasons...

I think they're QB is on the rise not there yet,

You mean the QB that got his quarterback rating ALMOST up to 75 last year?? That ranked him 23rd in the league among QBs with at least 200 passes attempted...

Dallas has topped out and is primed for another post Thanksgiving collapse, I've seen it happen to them for too many years now and I expect the same.

Of course you do, you see gloom and doom about EVERYTHING connected to the Cowboys... which is fargin' HILARIOUS, when you go on and on and on about how good the NINERS are... ROTFLMAO...

Never mind that the likely reason for those post Thanksgiving collapses is gone now, replaced by another head coach... but that won't have any affect on the team's psyche at all...

And I don't see Wade Phillips keeping this team motivated in the tuff part of the season, when the grind starts getting to players.

Why are you so certain he can't movitate the team?? Just one solid, logical reason is all I ask here...

Here's betting you can't come up with one...

These so called "experts" are a bunch of talkin' hair dos.

Said the man with zero credibility...

I AM DEFINITION OF A BANDWAGON FAN, you say it as if it's a bad thing.:D Look I ain't off the bandwagon or else I wouldn't waste my time on here talking to folks like you who call me and other names or refer to me as an idiot, you think I'd do this if I didn't care about the Cowboys.

You would if you were a troll, just lookin' to see how many people he can tick off...

Because Jerry said that every player on the squad was the result of a joint decision. If Bill had complete control over personnel as alleged, a certain disruptive wide receiver never would have landed at DFW.

jerry brought in bertrand berry. but in 2004 bill knew he wanted to switch to a 3-4. with berry in dallas that wouldnt have happened. bye bye berry hello wiley. parcells move

Berry came in, asked for a lot of money, the Cowboys balked, and Berry moved on. Happens all the time. Hell, we almost lost Davis that way.
