Let's have a real Kellen Moore thread

He has no game experience. Ur right not technically a rookie but in snaps he is. That was the spirit of the statement and many reasonable persons would recognize that..

not really

he has had nothing to do but learn, train and practice with pros....that is a million times different than being a green rookie

let's just get him his coach's visor and JG can have his padawan

Whatever dude. Snaps in real games are way more important than learning without that benefit. Without that it's like reading a book on doing a C-Section and seeing a video then being told you do it now. Call me if you need me. If you just want to argue here's something to argue with:

Adios, adieu, zai jian. etc.

So much disdain for Kellen Moore up in the zone. As long as he is a Cowboy I will support him. I am pulling for the kid personally. I say wait and see what he can do after playing with the first string and having all the weapons at his disposal. A lot of very good qb's had suspect qualities. I will say I haven't read any post on Moore saying he was dumb. That's half the battle folks.

I like him. If he can learn to look out for that backside Safety. He's got a bit of moxie to him. I just want a real competition for that QB2 job. Prescott gets a year to develop before he's a serious backup candidate. But I don't want to hand such an important job to Moore.

If you were half as funny as you are wrong then we might be onto something...too bad

and I didn't respond to you for a reason but you had to reply to me to pick a fight that you accuse me of needing......real cute

My problem with Romo is that whenever we face the Giants I expect us to be killed, he cannot keep up with a decisive passer like Eli manning.

.....

Are you really that football stupid?

You realize that Romo has beaten Eli the last 5 or 6 times they've played. Including the opener last year where Romo led his team down the field to a game winning TD after your decisive passer Eli was a moron and threw the ball away on a drive where he could have put the game away.

This is seriously one of the dumbest comments I've seen anyone make.

This team could sign the local drunken bum from a street corner and fans would flock to defend his untapped football talent.

Love how Moore is able pick up blitzes and dosent fold when pressured..Romo gets completely lost when they send an overload on him.

Romo's a good qb but to this date he's still not able to pick up blitzes...he will fold anytime he's pressured.

I have no doubt in his abilities to take us to the playoffs, that's a given he's shown that he can many times.

The troll is strong in this one

He freezes and can't pick up assignements when heavily pressured...opponents have been able to completely stop our offense whenever they decided to constantly bring more than 5 blitzers.

In reality, Dallas has done nothing to improve the backup QB position.

Someone help me out...when a QB lacks "arm strength," is that not something that can be improved upon? I ask because I truly do not know.

That's a good question for Joe Montana, that was the knock on him coming out oF Notre Dame.

I think he'd be a solid backup just not here in Dallas.

We need someone who can extend plays because the offensive system doesn't get players open.

We take what the defense gives and when they don't give it we need a QB that buys time.

This is why I wanted Wentz so bad. He could make plays within the system and also has the ability to create in his own.

And Prescott can't?

That's his game. Playing within the system is where the kid needs the work, IMO.

FTR - my jury is still out on Prescott.

I agree. I am not going to predict what Dak future is before he even steps on an NFL field and has a chance to show what he can do in this system. If I had my way we would have taken someone different but Cowboys took Dak and spent time with him so I'm sure they have a better feel for him than I do. The kid played in a tough SEC and performed very well at Miss St. what will he do in the pros? I don't know but I am willing to give him the chance before labeling him
