I actually liked the way they did the Pollard Zeke thing tonight. They flipped the script. It was interesting on how it worked out. Zeke in the 2nd half I think I like.

Despite the loss I am convinced that the Eagles are nothing to be worried about. Give me this team again in the playoffs or in Dallas with Dak. We nearly pulled this off with one the worst QB performances in the history. And I actually liked some things that Rush did. Hes just too limited.

Gotta score points when you play the best teams.

Rush is good, but physically limited. On multiple pass plays that Eagle defenders just got a hand on to break up the play, had that ball been zipped in there, they are completions. There's just not a lot of velocity on those throws.

Unfortunately some people won’t be able to see what’s right in front of them. The talent difference between Dak and Rush is enormous

That isn't that obvious yet, given Game 1 of this season. Also how good is Dak without Amari Cooper? That has yet to be answered. I don't think either Quarterback is the answer at this point.

Y'all been saying this every week...by your logic Dak is a backup, he put up 3 points Week 1. There is no lesson, everyone knows who Cooper Rush is.
How quickly these fools have forgotten Dak can go several quarters of football doing nothing too.
I seem to remember Dak was down 30 to 3 going into the 4th quarter against GB.

Nobody ever said Dak wasnt better than Cooper. But that’s a mighty low bar given his contract.
His contract means squat. Who’s the better qb to lead team period !!! It’s not even that close it’s not my money I don’t give a crap
Too many people use that contract as a point. Yes he’s overpaid by alot but has no bearing on outcomes of games talent does
And yes by far the most talented qb on this team. I think people look at Mahomes and or Allen and compare Dak to them and there is a large talent difference
It’s about the same with Dak and rush

Let's really break down what Dak has done lately against good teams.

vs. Bucs 3 points
vs. 49ers 17 points (home game playoffs)
vs. Chiefs 9 points (defense only gave up 19 to Pat Mahomes)
vs. Broncos 16 points (bad example, because they weren't a good team they were 7-10, we lost)

His best wins last year were against several 9-8 teams which isn't bad but not great, barely above average teams and could not beat a team with 10 or more wins. He did put up 29 against the Bucs in a loss last year and 33 against the Raiders in a loss, those were on the defense not him.

So you can say that's nitpicking.

Yet Dak is 18-19 over his last 37 starts, and a good amount of those wins were against the East which was bad, those days are over the east is a BEAST.

Dak is better than Rush, but he is not a savior and I have high doubts he can win us a Super Bowl even with this defense.

I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong, I'd shout it from the rooftops I was wrong.

But remember before Amari and after Dez he struggled. What's he going to do now? Last time we saw him he scored 3 points. He gets the starting job back sure, but he has to play well against good teams, the best teams, or eventually we should draft another QB.

I live in Lubbock, Texas where Texas Tech plays (yep, Patrick Mahomes college). I have seen for decades them put up ungodly numbers on offense against bad teams and then not do well against good teams. It isn't impressive to me. You have to do it against the best teams.
2 choices Dak or Rush I know who I’d go with even if he isn’t Patrick Mahomes

Who are you arguing with?

This easily could have been countered by having more speed at LB. Jabril Cox is healthy, but stubborn Dan Quinn prefers to play old and slower Anthony Barr. Big mistake that keeps getting exposed due to Quinn's stubborness.
I wish Quinn had your eye for talent.

Why not go to a real 5 man line on D? Unless you address that we are one and done in the playoffs from rg3 to goff and rams in playoffs to hurts they cant stop it!!!

Rush was limited and did play poorly yet in spite of him Dallas was behind 20-17 in the 4th quarter but did not stop Philly on a long drive so unless they fix the run defense and ability to stop an opposing offense in those situations with or without Dak will not matter.

Dak has had games like Rush did last night so fixing an exposed defense needs to happen as much as scoring more points.

one is a logical fix the other is much harder to do without some sort of massive trade to bring in a quality DT. Now the cowboys held them to 3.5 a carry but when the chips were on the table in the 4th they crumbled.

I don’t care about Game 1. I have 6 years of film on Dak.

It's going to hard to fix that defense when they haven't even began to pay the defense. If I'm Jerry I'm trading Dak for draft picks if can find a team dumb enough to take his salary. Than I'm paying and fixing the defense and drafting a 1st round QB. Of course this is after this season because your not finding a QB right now. Holding on to Dak there is just no way they will be able to pay high quality players on both sides of the ball.

not too concerned about run d. I thought defense did a great job despite a few untimely penalties.

you put Dak in there and roll the offense and Philly can’t just pound the rock.
