I haven't forgotten what he could do. It's time for it to start showing again.

Nicks had far more injuries than just his foot injury.

Julio Jones had the same injury and looks as good as ever.

YR

It was the foot injury Nicks had that everyone points to as to what killed his career. I already pointed out that Julio bounced back the very next season after his foot injury and put up 104 catches for just under 1600 yards. Dez has yet to bounce back and is battling another injury that cost him 3 games which has him in the middle of another down season.

Well played, sir :D

I hope on the Randy Gregory level scale of high, DE and MLB are "higher" :)
They might not re-sign TWill and Butler is a free agent also. They should assume that Dez will miss games at this point. That makes WR a very high priority, IMO. I love the idea of a dominant offense at the expense of a middle of the road defense. If the talent is equal I would likely take a WR in the 1st over a defensive player. We still have hope at MLB with Jaylon Smith. At DE Gregory might come back, Irvin might continue to develop and Lawrence might get to a Pro Bowl level.

Obviously, I might change my mind before the draft because we'll know a lot more by then.

It's not black and white. If you are being successful with a low risk approach...why throw to somebody who is blanketed in coverage?

And there of course some high risk throws that Dak can get comfortable with.

Dez can win a lot of those battles when he's covered. But there's flat more risk. A tip, a bump, a trip...a throw slightly off or ill-timed and you have trouble.

I think the video will speak loud and clear to anyone who seeks the truth. On Dez's catches...he's extremely well covered 3/4 of the time.

Certain QBs will work better with him than others.

If you want a comparison watch this Jordy Nelson video. There are some where Jordy creates no daylight...but there are a lot where he's coming open by a half stride, two strides...sometimes even three.

Again, the video is what 20 catches ou looked at? OUt of his entire career? It's a highlight video. I doubt they want to put in the 20 yard slant route Dez eats off of.

And I like how you snipped the rest of my post. You know the one that showed Romo having a 125 qb rating in 2014 when targetting Dez. That....matters.

And finally there is NFL open and there is "busted coverage" open. I think you can't really tell the difference. In the NFL if you have a step on your defender....you're open.

Hi KJJ, how's the hangover, bubba?

Again, let's keep this thread about this Sunday and our prognostications (in your case, since you're so hell bent on revisionist history). Mmkay?

Oh, they definitely won't resign TWill, unless he takes a nice discount (which he won't; or he woefully under-performs, so then, why resign him, amirite? And I love TWill). Austin just signed big money, and, yes, TWill isn't as explosive or "gadgety" as Austin, but he'll be in the ballpark (the Rams are inept with the guaranteed money, but I digress). Their numbers aren't that far off.

Anyways, interesting points, X, (as always, my man), but I would like to see Butler re-signed for around 2.5-3aav and roll the dice on that contract, stay with Dez and Beas and go heavy on D. But your point is a very good counterpoint. X, you bring it everyday, brotha.

I should be asking you that after last night and the thread isn't about Sunday and any prognostications. Now run along with Dave and continue padding each others "like" totals. Maybe by Sunday you can reach the 10,000 mark and you and him can go celebrate. lol

I see now whenever there is a thread about Dez I should just skip over it because it most definitely will be some of the stupidest stuff imaginable being said..smh..

Knock off the name calling and act like an adult. I would have to go back through a ton of your posts to find where you accused that poster of having multiple accounts. You either accused him of having multiple accounts or you wondered/asked if he had more than one account. Are you going to deny you never confronted another poster about having more "likes" than posts? Dude, I don't run and you don't need to explain your "like" totals I already have.

Dez was named the #1 merchandise seller in the whole league

Seems like more NFL fans like him than CZ members...unless he is buying up all the stuff himself like @Trouty does with likes.....

If you're replying to me, then you just completely made that up. Haven't been on this board long enough to figure out who might have multiple accounts, and don't care anyway. It took about three minutes to recognize that there were many idiots on here, however.

I replied to another poster unless you both share the same account. lol

Dez is currently 5th in merchandise sales as of April 25, 2016.

You can't answer my question, dolt? Wah wah needs to move on?

Get owned, son.

Who's on the floor?

As an aside, bond with that CVN dude, the two of you are similar, other than his Dez takes. Very meloncholy and dismissive of everything right this team does.

You can carry on like this because you have another account to lean if you get this one benched. Got a question ask it and leave out the name calling. You're crossing the line!

Currently "as of April 25"

Lol. Ladies and gentleman, KJJ.

If you have one that's been updated since April 25th feel free to post it. I doubt Dez would even be as high as #5 now.
