I think we have a top 10 QB, an above average, QB that was playing at an MVP level before this game. All is not lost if he returns to MVP form. I’m concerned about his play on the road versus good teams. I have the same exact concerns about the entire team not showing up again on the road versus a winning team. I honestly believe that if Dak played lights out like he has since the bye then we still would have lost. They just beat us. But they beat us in a very concerning way. They shut down Dak and ran down our throats which is the playoff story for Cowboys. Discouraging loss, very discouraging.
This!! Let's see how they respond in Miami. They have good record of bouncing back after a loss like this, however the effort needs to be on the field and at least needs to be competitive. The buffalo loss was a team loss including McCarthy. Dak at the QB position has more control of the scoreboard than any player on the team. Let's see what they draw up in Miami. If Dak plays like last night next week, drop the MVP and contract talk.

It should have never started. His ability to beat up on the bad teams has been his staple his entire career. MVP's aren't handed out for stat padding against cream puffs, they're given to QB's who rise against the better teams and in the playoffs.

I don't think he is the best QB in the league. I have others I would pick over Dak. He is playing well now, but the season is not over.
Like I said, season is not over. He is not the best QB in the leauge.

I predict that Dak is going to see a lot of zone coverage upcoming, with the opposing teams daring us to beat them with our running game, especially if they can generate pressure with 4.
Dude it's not just the zone people are missing this fact they can play zone with Max coverage because they're getting past our offensive line with a four man rush most of the time they don't have the blitz they don't have to do anything special our offensive line are not holding up long enough even with a four man rush and then when Prescott looks up nobody's open because they dirty up the whole entire field this isn't just about a lack of a run game this is the offensive line not being good at pass blocking or run blocking they literally have done this all year Prescott typically has been able to overcome it and tonight he could not...

Seriously this isn't just about the zone he can beat the zone even with the two high safeties it's the games where offensive line gets beat with the four man rush that stops the run and gets to the quarterback with very little special defense that means they have all the players on the back end in coverage it it's kinda hard to play that way so some people need to realize it's not that Prescott can't beat a zone he has beat zones he can't beat a zone when his offensive line is getting beat with four guys up front... That'll be a problem moving forward it has been a problem this defense can't stop anyone and our offensive line when they're not on their game with a physical D line it's just over this is all the losses look just like this it's not zone it's zone with a defensive line with four guys and I've even seen three guys a three man line beat our offensive line in some games..

So it would be nice to have a run game but that's not the only problem it's not a lack of a run game without zone as a matter of fact if we would have stuck with the run game more it seemed like after Martin went out they gave up on the run game as the game got more and more out of hand which is somewhat understandable but this is the fact that our offensive line can be handled with a four man line so now they can just play coverage I mean it's hard to play like that and not only just play coverage he also doesn't have the time Prescott doesn't have the time to throw even with a four man rush it's breaking down...

Anybody judging Prescott off this game is ridiculous nothing's changed from last week except for the fact that our offensive line got handled with a four man line they played a lot of coverage there was no time to throw they abandoned the run game we got down early there were far too many penalties there were far too many injuries too many people were sick there's a whole bunch of problems in this game and we lost we got our butts kick what did you look at the other side what exactly did Josh Allen do in this game less than Prescott Prescott didn't get that run game if he did we'd have won this game they literally shut down our run and our path with a four man line and played Max coverage and they were getting to the quarterback pretty easily..

3 points when it mattered....3....thats terrible
yeah that'd be on the offensive line the play caller the blocking the receivers not getting open because of the offensive line no run game because of the offensive line oh wait a minute let's blame where it is you can't be an MVP when there's nobody to throw to not enough time to throw no run game in A1 dimensional game why don't we get that straight, right now! Anybody being this clueless and delusional thinking Prescott ever had a chance the defense was terrible offensive line was terrible the support was terrible there was a lot of terrible things just like in the other three losses that it was not on the quarterback to win a game by himself......

This is wild, the entire team sucked and got spanked and we're already back to the "Dak sucks" cerebral posts.

Unfortunately there are a lot more cream puffs than serious contenders in this modern NFL.

Dak plays like an MVP against bad teams. They aren’t in the post season.

Truth.

Dak hasnt had a Pro Bowl since 2018.

That’s one Pro Bowl since his rookie season.

Never been All Pro.

I don't even care about that. Pro Bowls are meaningless. All-pro means something, but I don't care about that either.

I just want them to be competitive in these big games without throwing up all over themselves every single time.
