Lets say fans get wish and Garrett is fired, now what?

Me on the day I read that Garrett's been fired:
LL

Well, not really, but I never felt he earned the job and I'm still waiting for that football genius we were promised.

Yes it is great to see the fruit finally bare on the tree that you plant. What is results.
I'm tired of the merry go round of stopping and starting just like JJones had become.
I think we're seeing results but it's coming in small increments and too damn slow.
This is my team. It's the one I chose and the cast of characters have flaws.

So I work with that. The thing I can't change is JJones. He is here and I have learned to
like his weird mannerisms. I believe in Garrett and his method. So on we go.

I have excepted this world as my enjoyment time.
I hear you bro, I don't think you and me will ever agree about Garrett.

You think he is a good coach that is just taking a very long time to build his program and I think he is just a mediocre coach that will give you mediocre results year in and year out with the occasional double digit win season thrown in every now and then.

Good discussion, even though you are wrong.:D

Saban
Harbaugh
Meyer
Shaw

Let's not pretend like there aren't plenty of good options out there
Would Harbaugh be interested in making the jump back to the NFL so soon? He's making tons of cash at Michigan and he's building up a program there (or trying to at least).

I think Romo and Garrett are tied together for better or worse at this point. Romo probably only has a couple more years before we start seriously exploring letting him walk. I just don't see a total regime change until that happens.

And really, that's depressing as hell. Romo's career will have been wasted by a dude who was learning on the job for quite a bit of it.

The fact that some people are saying Nick Saban tells me how out of tune with these coaches some of ya'll are. Saban has no good reason not to finish his coaching career in Alabama. Wouldn't see Dallas being a fit anyways.

I dont beleive that those who want Garrett fired represent the majority.

However, in the spirit of the question....

Troy Calhoun, current Head Coach of the Air Force Academy.

You will see discipline, hard work, teamwork, and accountibility.

Let's make this happen. As long as Jerry is calling the shots, what difference does it make?

If we can't make history on the field of play anymore, let's at least break down some barriers.

Kind of looks like a female Bill Belichick. This could work out.

Urban Meyer

Last night when Urban Meyer was asked about if he considered the NFL. He sais no, he loves what he is doing and where he is at. A long time ago, maybe the thought was there, as all coaches come across that question. But now it is not a thought.
However, as he said that, my first thought was...Jerry....he hasn't talked and been offered the Dallas Cowboys job yet, has not talked to Jerry..........:D

Needs to pass the post game Press Conferences and interviews first.......:muttley:

I like Marrone's coaching tree. He was okay at Syracuse, not great but did what he could with them. I wish he was a defensive minded coach though :D

That's the thing about Marrone...his defense's improved far more than his offense's at both Syracuse and Buffalo. In 2 years at Buffalo, he turned them into a 9-7 with EJ Manuel as his QB.

He doesn't get enough credit at Syracuse. The talent he had to work with was abysmal. And in four years he turned them into a borderline top-25 program. Prior to him coming to Syracuse, they were losing to teams like Akron at home.

Then he left and SU has quickly become a joke again with woefully sub-standard talent.

she would show more anger then garrett im thinking in a press conference. Has to assert herself in a man's predominately dominated field.

Urban has his dream job with a top tier program much like Saban. Other than getting bored winning championships, he isn't going anywhere.

Urban's got the world by the low hangers...why leave? Doesn't have to prove anything and dealing with professional athletes is a lot different than dealing with athletes whose scholarships hang in the balance.

Matt Patricia - Head Coach
Josh Mcdaniels - Assistant Coach.

Why leave? Bc people have aspirations..that's why

When you are talking about an individual who strives for greatness, they usually WANT MORE...being complacent isn't in their DNA...

THAT'S WHY

With our luck if Garrett gets fired Jerry will hire his brother John and he'll name Jason as the Cowboys OC. :p
