I still have my three VHS tapes of our last three Super Bowls. I'm hanging on to them in case a museum wants to purchase them someday.

Forget about 2021, the Broncos, the 49ers, the penalties. For that matter, forget about Jimmy Johnson, Tom Landry, the 5 Super Bowls.

Make a commitment that you are going to live in the moment and enjoy this season, one game, one practice at a time and you are not going to burden the Joneses, the coaches, the players etc. with all of your psychotic expectations, the need for the current Dallas Cowboys to live up to the past legacy.

Just pretend this is an expansion team - after all every season is really a new team. Be grateful for every win, and be even more gracious in defeat.

You should ask reality for a positive zone, where only positive comments are allowed.
Or start a positive only thread, and see if anyone joins u.

I love the history of this franchise and the great players who have played for this team, I will never forget them. However I treat every season on it own, what took place last season good and bad is done. As a player you learn from it but put it behind you and move forward. This is a new season with some new faces and I look forward to it.

agreed ive always as fan treat season as a one-off new players sometimes new coaches and with 30% roster changeovers its a new team ever 4 years outside of the core guys..Low expectations but excitement each new year keeps realistic judgments within the norm not the crazies here, where ethe sky's falling and we are doomed every off-season LOL

short NFL season with LONG offseason. Just appreciate it, its gone in a blink.

All we got is the past. All we have to look forward to is one disappointed season after another.

I'm not sure why I need to forget the past in order to enjoy the upcoming season.

haha…..I was thinking, “ I’ll take thing’s Pollyanna would say, for $500 Alex”.

but seriously, every fan views the past, present and future as they see fit.
The people that annoy me the me most here want to shape my opinions and tell me how to be a fan. I will continue to think for myself, thanks.

I'm intrigued by what this team is going to do this season. Though, I think this team has had too many distractions this offseason.

Never thought of it this way. Treat every year like they are an expansion team with zero expectations of winning and I will be better off. Set the bar so low that even the Jones boys can hit it. Brilliant!

Go and fall for all the BS thats been spooned out for 25+ years if you want to....wear your Cowboys gear 24/7....some of us have known for years that greatness is UNATAINABLE as currently constructed....don't tell me to dream about Super Bowls, when 2nd round exits are the absolute ceiling. This is what I think about your request Mr. Man....

Let's all go cry.
