You will have to excuse USArmyPET. He has NOTHING else but recent team success.

If he goes back to team success over Dak's entire career he looks too dumb. If he uses offensive numbers he looks even more dumb. If he uses QB statistics he looks like a complete fool.

He is a one trick pony and he is sticking with it. The problem for him is what does he do when the Cowboys start winning? He has no place to hide. All his eggs reside in the Cowboys continuing to lose. So he is stuck rooting for his own team to lose.

You're projecting your lack of knowledge onto others.

Knowing NFL concepts is available information for everyone to learn. I just learned it a long time ago. I know what route combo's beat specific coverages. You can google all this info for yourself as well and you don't have to work in the NFL to find it.

If you'd like to learn efficiently, imo, I would start out learning basic coverages and then learn the weak spots in those coverages.


But hey.. Ignorance is bliss and I still enjoy games by just turning them on and watching nothing but the QB at times.

I got bad news Rockport. A cover 3 defense is a cover 3 defense. A cover 2 defense is a cover 2 defense. A cover 1 defense is a cover 1 defense. No matter if Bill Parcells tells you how to run it or some random guy on the internet.

Football is really not that complicated of a sport.

Now there are wizards... Andy Reid is a wizard.

But a guy like Jason Garrett can show you football schemes in their purest form. I mean almost no motion or anything. This is basic. Everything is textbook.

But.. You do you man. Think what you want.

It was pretty impressive that Allen took his team to the AFC title game in his 3rd season without much of a running game to help him out. And his accuracy improvement was extraordinary. It remains to be seen if he can duplicate that this season of course.

Any fool can see that Dak is way better than Dalton. Any fool but you I guess.

I never said I was an expert. It really doesn't take an expert to acquire this information that is widely available.

My ability to recognize a college style system vs a pro style system has you bamboozled but this is basic stuff..

I will say though.. In 2021 the NFL has definitely muddied up the waters as to what is a college and pro offense considering they are running a lot of college concepts these days.

2 things happened to Allen that happened to Dak:

1. He got a some real passing weapons and a legit #1. Diggs
2. He matured like most QB's from their rookie years

1 thing happened that has never happened with Dak or Romo

1. His team built a defense

But probably the biggest thing happened to Allen........................Brady went to the NFC

You think Allen makes it to the championship game with the 31st ranked NFL defense? I doubt he even makes the playoffs.

All these great abilities you think you have didnt help you analyze that Mahomes was better than Kaaya? So what good is all this worldly football knowledge you have?

With all your worldly knowledge you predicted that our offense under Dalton would be better off than with Dak. Anyone with any kind of football knowledge would have known that with the Cowboys Oline injuries that Dalton cant handle pressure and would crumble.

Yet with all your worldly football knowledge you thought he would thrive here?

Bottom line is you are one of the most football challenged posters this site has EVER seen. And when it comes to QB's you dont belong in the conversation.

It's interesting that Allen's huge leap in completion percentage coincided with the arrival of Stefon Diggs. Coincidence? I think not..
