When you are average and playing on a below average and or banged up squad you tend to look more sparkly than you really are. This is/was Scandric. Never more than just average league player playing with new/below average guys.

Some of the comments in here make me chuckle.

A few months ago, he was a key missing part to the disastrous 2015 season.

How many teams lose their QB, their WR, their best CB and can win? Huh? You can't win without that!

Amazing how a year makes a difference.

RIsen, you may know as you are I have been a propoent for years to improve the trenches and we both rejoiced Dallas investing in OL , and thankfully could see the fruits for last 3 years.

Having said that , I cant agree corners dont matter, it is an open fact Dalls DL is not making any OLs/ QB shiver, and so whatever position our D has achieved is because of our secondary play... be it improved Claiborne out FS Jones coverage and even Carr being aggressive and of course Brown is making Scandrik superfluous.

Of course if Dlaw being back make our DL even average , with improved secondary we have a chance . Our offense firing all cylinders help us play with lead and gives D to attack the opponets.

CB's do matter but you fail to see the entire picture. He has missed that time and it doesn't matter because Mo and Brown and stepped up big time. Carr playing decent also. His replacements are making plays. It's not like we are playing with only 10 guys on defense now without OScan.

Yeah all it took for Oscan to be a fotonote was for Mo to be rated as the top corner in all of football. Something else i'm sure you will now claim to have predicted.

It just bothers me. We are a 4-1 team one of the hottest in the league right now and someone makes up a post talking about a guy who was our best corner before Mo turned It up, saying he is glad the guy is gone. Like *** man only cowboys fans

Have to keep in mind, the 80/20 rule (great principle btw) is applicable here.

About 80% of the complaining comes from 20% of the base. Just point and laugh.

I think over the past 20 years we've developed a habit of singling out players for criticism because of the losses,,, OScan is a very good corner and he's never had an issue with hammys that I recall. His return will not be that big of a boost since Brown is playing so well, but it will shore up our depth in case another CB goes down.
