Let’s just let Moore do what he does. We have to over power them and play fast and hard. Blunt force trauma.

Any team that plays us had better concentrate on stopping the run first or they'll be trying to catch up the rest of the game. Dak is quite likely going to sufficiently have his way with the Cowboys passing attack, by virtue of the talent available for him to throw to. Like most teams, I bet they'll have a hard time keeping up with us score-wise. It would be nice to beat the Patriots for a change, just as we should, being 4-point favorites. Let's hope our guys can avoid the slow start that they had vs. the Giants last Sunday.

I see the Patriots playing their safeties deep and making the Cowboys nickel and dime their way down the field. I think Belichick will gear their defense toward stopping the passing game, and let the Cowboys run. His goal will be to shorten the game, and limit the amount of possessions where the Cowboys can score.

Offensively, for the Patriots, the key will be pass protection. If they can protect Mac Jones, and he has time to pass, he can make plays against this defense. The Cowboys need to get him off his spot, and get pressure up the middle.

The Cowboys will likely win, but they will also have their lowest scoring output of the season and the other teams will have a roadmap to how to slow this team down.

I fully agree that will be the plan. Cowboys have to take on the Mike Tyson mentality which is "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."
If Pats want to see back in 2 safeties high then Cowboys need to rip them with the run game.

I would rather have Shultz then anything they have and he is our 5th best weapon. There is a reason Brady left to go to Tampa and it was not just his issues with Belichick.
i said FA after Tom left like this year they have spent a lot of money in FA so they must have soem talent i mean this lace was jealous railed on Stephen for the bargain basement hunting lol

Pats have done a pretty good job of keeping the scoring down. vs Tampa Bay they held the Pats to 19 points. I think Belichick will try to stop the quick strike by keeping safeties back but in doing so will only open themselves up to the Cowboys run game. Only chance I see Pats having is keeping the scoring down in this game
Patriots' three losses are all at home - but all were close. 1point to Dolphins and 2-point to Buccaneers; were only down 8 points to Saints before NO went on a drive late in the 4th quarter to put the game away. Three TDs is the most NE defense has given up (Saints and Texans).

Mac Jones is game manager, 5 TDs with 5 interceptions so far. Their offense is ranked near the bottom but the defense is top 10. It appears they relying mostly on their D and the rookie as game manager to wins games.

26th in scoring
5th in points allowed

29th offensive turnovers
11th defensive turnovers

The bottom line, we should win this game pretty easily.

3 of Jones' 5 interceptions were against the Saints - his worse game so far this season, with a 55.3 QB rating. In the other four games, Jones compiled ratings of 102.6, 89.0, 101.6 and 95.3.

It is hard to build a team through free agency. You need your draft picks to play well. The Joneses are not perfect but the Cowboys draft well for the most part.

BB is doing a rain dance, if its clear and calm (for Foxsboro) there are too many things to defend on this offense for even BB to cover..Do I think he will try and throw wrinkles..yes. Is it possible the 1st quarter and into the 2nd look really ugly..yes. Will our offense adjust and turn on the heat that Mac Jones can not answer...yes.

I suspect NE will try and go play-action early to keep the down and distances manageable for Mac Jones.

Went over to 'Pats Pulpit' (SBNATION Patriots fans website). Only article up so far about the game is pertaining to the spread... Patriots are underdogs at +4 (DraftKings Sportsbook) and over/under is 48.0. (No comments.)

This is a game the Cowboys should win handily. McCarthy will surely remind the Cowboys all week how Belichick and the the Patriots have had their way with them over the years.

The Patriots have a six-game win streak against the Cowboys. In those games, the Cowboys have a grand total of three offensive touchdowns—all Tony Romo passes. They’ve been held without touchdowns in four of the contests, including the last one, and to less than 14 points in five of them. Belichick has shut them down.

My big concern is their bread and butter is play action and a pass over the middle to the TE. Always seems open against us

I'm guessing Quinn may give them that until or if they reach the red zone......then tighten it up a bit.

Actually, lots of NFL team boards are like that.......very few, if any are as active as the Zone.

this has been the strategy for most of the teams so far against us,the problem is our RBs are gaining huge yards on early downs.Dak and Moore has shown they can be patient with the run game and throws to the TEs.

I hope we blitz the hell out of Mac...force him into mistakes and keep up the sacks (he has 11 already) ... Can't let a rookie sit back and comfortably dink and dunk down the field. Make him prove he can handle the blitz. Its not like they have a running game either.

Cowboys Fan website under SBNATION umbrella - 'Blogging The Boys' is very active. The five FPWs -Front Page Writers - put out at least two dozen articles between games - and the login members comment frequently to each one. (Was a former member- will probably register again this season.)
