first, i don't need to tell rob anything. he has given more of himself than i think he should. he has played injured this whole season without complaint. he had serious injuries in the detroit game and no substitute was sent in, not even for one play. he has practiced when he couldn't even walk because of a high ankle sprain, then played an entire game against denver and the rest of the season. ( see j. jones if you want to know about an high ankle sprain.)
as far as his conditioning, he works extremely hard at it. he knows what needs to be done and will be at it shortly. i believe he is the only rookie linemen to start every game and play every offensive play in season and most offensive plays preseason. that has taken a huge toll along with the various injuries.
as far as being worthy, he has earned that star on his helmet. he got no special treatment and asked for none. if he wasn't the best option at the time, he would have been out of the line up. i think there are many factors in running a successful offensive and to say one player could singularly be responsible for its success or failure is wrong.
as far as that clip goes, he was extremely frustrated by his play at that point. he told me that the rams were holding him and the refs let it go. he lost his cool and allowed his frustration to show through. it has nothing to do with tucker.
Thanks for this. You help make this site better, and I think you know that you are seeing fans who are venting in frustration much the same way Rob was. I'm really thankful we had him this year.
