He made contact with the LS on the Vikings go ahead FG in the 4th quarter, which gave the Vikes a free 1st down and about 2 more minutes off the clock before another attempt -- all but ending the game.

He’s too wild and undisciplined. For this team that would be an overkill.
Do not understand the obsession with a guy who would’ve been inactive or had less than 5% of snaps. This video is not convincing at all lol.
Just cause a guy is fat doesn’t mean he’s a good DT. Can draft another Ridgeway every season.

No thank you. Guy gets an unnecessary roughing penalty or something stupid every time you turn around even with his limited snaps. He cost Washington big time in the loss to the Vikings due to an unnecessary roughness penalty. On 4th and 4 the Vikings kicked a FG to make it 20-17 with 1:52 left in the game. However, due to the penalty by Ridgeway the Vikings were given a 1st down. The Vikings were then able to run the clock down to 16 seconds, make Washington use their final timeout, and kick the winning FG while leaving Washington with only 12 seconds. So he cost his offense 1 minute 40 seconds and a timeout at a crucial time of the game. We have enough undisciplined play on our team without adding to it. Be aggressive and tough within the rules of the game. We don't need stupidity.

That's the thing. People just want a big, fat guy, thinking he can play. And Ridgeway didn't fit into our scheme.
In fact, he stood out so much because he didn't fit the scheme.

Maybe it wasn't, but it's a known penalty and he's 3 times the RBs size. All he had to do was tackle him. Leave of the WWE out.
This is a classic low football IQ penalty.

What is our scheme? Lighter tackles that are quick, but can’t stop the run? This will be our biggest issue in the playoffs. We should have picked up Suh. Him and Joseph, with only a couple days of practice, helped Philly’s D stuff the run in the 4th quarter, and beat the Colts.
