That demonstrates actions and words.
You're wrong. Deal with it.
If JG really did wanted to build a OLine with the high picks like SF did, we would not have picked Mo in 2012 with our 1st and the 2nd pick. JG had no such plans.
Surely even you, when you reread that post, understand why nobody is going to take the logic in it seriously.
Ok. I'll make it simple so that even you can understand it.
I need a vehicle and plan to buy a sports car. I went to the dealer. All sports cars were sold out so I bought a SUV. Was I planning to buy a SUV since I bought the SUV?

Funny how people want to make up stuff to fit their story.
This is just a faulty analogy; it doesn't make your argument any better.
If you'd gone to the dealership planning to buy a sports car or, failing that, an SUV. And the sports car was taken before you could buy it, so you selected the SUV instead...did things go according to your original plan? Yes. They did.
What's more, would you give yourself credit for buying the SUV? Or would you pretend it was an accidental purchase?
lol now Jones is credible?
“It’s a hard thing to do,” Garrett said. “It started with Tyron Smith, it continued with some other decisions that we’ve made. And then certainly Travis Frederick came into the mix this offseason and has helped us. You need to have young, cornerstone players on your offensive line, and we’ve gone through that process over the last couple of years. I think we’re getting where we need to be.”
“We believe games in the National Football League are won up front,” coach Jason Garrett said. “If you look at the best teams in the league now and for a lot of years, they are able to control the line of scrimmage on the offensive side of the ball. We did that for years here when we won championships here in the ‘90s. You need to build the infrastructure of your team.”

We can thank Jerry for drafting Tyron and Frederick. Sometimes you have to give credit to where its due.
I think people are giving Linehan too much credit. The plays we are running....aren't much different than how and what we ran last year....execution is different however. LInehan has been good. Garrett has been good. Maranelli has been good.........and the scouting department and GM? Didn't have a terrible offseason looking back at it. Its a collective effort. Still a lot of football to be played.
Jones deserves credit but again it is a group effort of scouts and coaches. When BP was here it was the same thing, when Wade was here same thing it is a group effort and at the end of the say the buck has to stop somewhere and that is normally with the GM but far from a solo job.
Totally agree. Sure the GM does get the limelight for pulling the trigger. But I bet there was considerable amount of research done before the draft and I think thats is paying us dividends. Benjamin Franklin once said that if its going to take him 6 hours to cut down the tree you might as well spend 5 hours sharpening the axe.
I honestly don't see how anyone can think Linehan isn't a difference maker. Would our offense be humming like this if we still had the same coaching/playcalling arrangement as we did last year? I doubt it.
That performance on Sunday night was one of the most balanced, efficient games I've seen a Dallas offense execute in ages. It was literally a thing of beauty.
Hell, we stuck with the run game even when we were down 21 points against the Rams. We couldn't stick to the run game when were WINNING games last year.
Linehan IS definitely making a difference. Kudos to the FO for bringing him in.
