Which franchise gets to NFC Conference game first this Century: Lions or Cowboys?

With the Cowboys resembling more like the Lions than the once dominant franchise, the Lions had a nice 2023 draft.

Cowboys 2nd rd draft picks have been bad the past decade and can't seem to find OL talent unless they use a 1st rd pick. When a franchise relies more on the draft to fill holes than free agency, you see why the Cowboys haven't seen a NFC Conference finals in THREE DECADES.
Cowboys have drafted some solid players in the 2nd....as far as not finding OL talent unless its a 1st rounder......Connor Williams was a 2nd. Terrence Steel was undrafted.

Lions. They have a hc w power to hire and fire. Plus they can and do hire a new gm when they don’t win. And everyone in their org doesn’t report to the owner (ie, no accountability to the hc).

All of OPs threads are horridly formed arguments where the conclusion isn’t at all related to the topic.

And the actual results, well let’s just ignore them

Lions. But hear me out. The Lions get their ticket punched first for the NFC championship game because they play Saturday. The Cowboys of course get their ticket punched for the NFC championship game Sunday.

The two play to see who represents the NFC in the super bowl. The Cowboys come away with a 38 to 23 victory and move on to the super bowl, where they will face Kansas City. I won't tell you who wins the super bowl you just have to watch.

But if you're a betting man put your money on Dallas :flagwave:

Where did we draft Biadasz, or Steele exactly? There's 2/5th of your starting line.
Agree 2 out of 5 but the team have no depth behind them. Connor Williams was released and is the starting center in Miami. And the other Connor( sorry for his last name) is a starter for the NY Jets, that Dallas also just let go.
Biadasz was gotten in a draft trade with the Eagles in the 5th ( I believe ) and Steeler UDFA

I think both Connor Williams and McGovern were not retained, because they got good contracts elsewhere. My point is they weren't bad picks. We've done decent after round one.

We do need more depth, but that is a problem league wide on oline.

I for one, like the idea of bringing Peters back in a back up/utility role. I also kept thinking we'd get a more established back up rb in case TP goes down. I like our young guys, but I'm still not sold they are enough without Pollard. Rbs are cheap too, so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I'd have felt better had we taken one in the middle rounds.

Their plan hasn't produced a Super Bowl championship in 27 years.
What the hell does that have to do with they have built now? They are now loaded because they have drafted well and developed players. To be blind is what ignorant people do.

This is what you say every year. Until the Cowboys prove me wrong then what I say is undebatable.
