Lawrence is a good hard player with a strong motor. A lunchpail type of guy but I'm not real thrilled about getting him in the first round. Frankly, I'd rather trade down and grab Easley in the first round but that's just me. I'm not convinced Easley will be there in the second round when we pick.

If I want a lunch pail de in bottom of rd 1 I take Crichton

I know he is a DT but I truly believe he is the best DE not named Clowney... not saying he will actually be there but I'm just saying.

I think you are right the best choice at DE is probably Easley. I am still scared about his health, but the options are so limited in this draft, I would take him in the second and hope he stays healthy and can be Jared Allen-like.

I hear you but more and more I think he won't make it to #47. If we want him, and I think we do, then we will have to take him before then. I truly envision us trading back in the first and picking up a second so we take him with our 1st pick and then bolster with the 2nd and two 3rds (trade).

Lawrence is not Suggs....And it's not even close. Suggs was a freak coming out college...hence the top 10 pick. Lawrence isn't nearly as strong/physical as Suggs either.

The word is similar. I does not mean "same".

Lawrence is the best run defender of the weak side type DEs, but like Suggs didn't run well in testing.

Another thing to consider guys is that in a trade down it may actually be to our favor to draft a guy even if we have a 2nd round grade on him.

If we move down from 16 and then everyone we like has a 2nd round grade then move down some more. The last we need is to overdraft players.
