How outstanding was Clark and Parsons in that Green Bay playoff game?
No matter how much evidence they are shown they refuse to utilize critical thinking.

In the 3 losses to the Bills,Dolphins and Packers, Parsons had 3 solo tackles and 1 sack TOTAL.......yet the legend of him will always be there to these same people.

Now cue the " oh he was double teamed" excuses.

Little LT, my ash.

He’s actually a bigger version of LT at 6’3” 245. LT was 6’3” 237.

I still believe that the LB Corp isn't as strong as we need in terms of experience

Just one injury to Overshown or Kendricks changes the entire complexion.....it almost a must that Liufau can hit the ground running.

The Browns and Chubb will be their first test
Even when injury hits other teams don't hesitate to tell the understudy that even the NFL minimum is a lot of money and he better be ready to play or move on to the semi-pros.

Parsons is the only LB that has a PFF over 73......it's hard for me to agree that the LB core is "pretty high"

What I will say is that there is at least "HOPE " that Overshown and Liufau can develop into great players.

I really hope so but I have to see it first
lol remember you have people on here who think the WR group is more than 5 deep. Where people get that idea on any unproven players is crazy to me. At least LBs have proven guys either in pro or at high level college so there’s talent in the room. Maybe Zimmer can get the most out of them.

DB and WR terrify me after the first 2 starters at each.

RB they all are basically equally bad.

DT - First 8 games Osa will show up then the who position could be awful.

Lots of questions on this team that we won’t know until September. Guys who show out in preseason generally are doing it against guys that are gonna get cut.

there are a couple of teams like SF that are simply better overall then the boys. But the list is short. Injuries always factor in; who can cope with them best and who has the least important ones often are the ones standing at the end
Teams better than Dallas going into the season:

KC
Baltimore
SF
GB
Philadelphia
Detroit
Cincinnati
Houston

Teams that are about even with Dallas

Atlanta
Buffalo
Jets
Rams
Seahawks
Dolphins
Tampa
Cleveland

Teams Dallas is definitely better than
Wash
NYG
Bears
Vikings
Panthers
Cardinals
Jags
Titans
Steelers
Pats
Raiders
Chargers
Saints
Broncos
Colts

I disagree that Clark has been outstanding. He ranked 46th in LBs last season and was consistently out of place.

We clearly have different definitions of what " outstanding" means.
I have some hope for him as an SLB/WLB. Last year, he took over as MLB when LVE got hurt and his head was swimming. With Kendricks taking the field commander role, he should be able to just concentrate on his tasks.

Playing time at LB will be interesting. If we're going to use Parsons there more (on early downs), then the initial group is WLB Overshown/Clark, MLB Kendricks and SLB Parsons. Clark will probably play SLB when Parsons isn't in there, but Parsons will probably play DE mainly on passing downs, so we'll only have two LBs out there then.

I don't expect Kendricks to be out there on pure passing downs, so Overshown, Clark and Liufua will be vying for those two spots, and we could play a safety there like Bell in those situations.

Everything so far is Liufau & Wilson (sometimes Parsons) at Sam. Since Clark is the starting will, Overshown has played in the nickel role of the will.

That's not what I've been reading.

The secondary, LBs and Parsons are solid. They’ll lose because teams will run straight up the middle and run out the clock
