I just happen to agree with you there ...probably for different reasons though.

On a side note, sometimes your threads remind me of good ol' Pittman4Two.

But, life is never fair.

BIGDen;3584384 said:Hey Phoenix. Haven't seen you in a long time. I may have missed it, but did you ever make an appearance here after the Dallas/Philly playoff game last year? Just curious because I know you were around pretty frequently prior to that ending for Philly. Wondering if we ever got a congrats from you or whatever.
Vick will keep Philly in games because of his mobility, but I think that team has too many holes along the OL and defense to do much this year. Just an honest assessment, not trash-talking.
As for Dallas, they can beat anybody but, unfortunately, that includes themselves (as we've seen). Coaching is a problem along with some stupid players. Dallas will probably get 9 or 10 wins and tease the fans enough to think they might pull it off in the end, but will do something stupid to piss it all away.

While it was a very bitter pill to swollow, I meant every congratulatory word I said.
I wish your team well ...I'm not trying to raise any unnecessary temperatures, so I'll leave the Cowboys chances to Cowboy fans. That fair enough?

It would please me greatly to see Vick carted off the field, immobilized... and for one moment, I'd be just like an Eagle's fan taking a page out of their book and cheering like when Michael Irvin went down in Philadelphia.

In all seriousness though, what he did was terrible but wishing injury on another person isn't much better. Aren't we above that?
Phoenix-Talon;3584381 said:Hahaha! You are really in a position to talk with Hayesworth (while you may have forgotten, Cowboy fans haven't forgotten that video clip captured Haynesworth stomping the face of that Cowboys playing who was just doing his job).
Putting all that aside, I'd still like the chances your team has with Mcnabb. I just hope your OL can protect McNabb, because he is known to get injured.
I wish you the same type luck.
Sidebar: You'll have to explain the "good ol' Pittman4Two."
Juke99;3584399 said:OK....this is a guy who took small dogs, strays, and tossed them into small cages with fight trained pits in order to allow the pits to rip the smaller dogs apart, building a blood lust in them.
Then, when those very same pits were no longer of use to him, he personally drowned them...by hand. Just imagine the thrashing about a dog would be doing, especially one as strong as a pit, as it was being drowned.
Nah, sorry. I'm not all that interested in whether or not I'm better than him. It's one thing when someone makes a mistake in life. This is an example of human depravity that is beyond what we can comprehend.
And mark my words, a sociopath like this will one day, again make headlines...and not for his work on a football field.
Other than that, I think he's a swell guy.

Well that's what I mean, if I'm understanding you correctly. This and the McNabb trade are all tied together. He basically sold it that they could trade McNabb because he had this young QB finally groomed and ready to play at a very high level -- and then he chooses a failed QB experiment and felon like Vick over Kolb. If it doesn't work, the fans will want his head. And it'll be even worse if McNabb plays well for you guys, which I think he will.SkinsandTerps;3584411 said:If anything the McNabb decision would have been the turning point for Coach Reid.

But Vick is perfect for Philly. Scum QB for scum fans.

This isn't a case of a guy making a mistake.
He repeatedly displayed sociopathic behavior no different than a serial killer. I guess his saving grace was he "only" serial killed dogs.
Guaranteed. He'll be in jail again someday.
