TERENCE NEWMAN

The Cowboys signed the cornerback to a six-year, $50 million extension Tuesday. That's good news for Santana Moss. Newman hasn't played that well the last few years

It's amazing how these people print this stuff. What has moss done?

Interesting...I guess him picking off the pass at the end of the game, this last year, to shut down their comeback bid somehow got overlooked due to the fact it was one of the few times they even attempted to throw the ball in his direction the last few years.

That's the first thing that came to my mind too.

Actually, it is great news for Campbell. Now there will be someone on the filed to catch those passes that are high and behind the receiver.

While he may not be always lined up across from Newman -- Moss' numbers against the Cowboys are very good in 6 games (5 w/ the Skins, 1 with NYJ), he's totaled 33 catches, 602 yrds and 3TDs.

The error with the writer is the idea that he "picking on Newman." But it's the Post so...

I remember when Skins fans used to assure me that Terrell Owens never had good games against the Skins. Used to crack me up because I looked up the stats and it was true, they weren't that impressive. The forgotten concept was that you guys had lost every game in which you had ever faced him up to that time. It was one of my favorite stat arguments ever because it was so crystal clear.

Then he had to go and blow it last year in the first game we played.

i guess whoever wrote that was confused. if i recall when we lost to them this year it was Moss getting past someone wearing 35...

although i guess anyone could confuse 35 with 41....or maybe he watched a replay of the monday night game when he beat 26 and 31, and thought they were actually just one person wearing 41? it's an honest mistake that anyone could make...

hmm...on second thought....he's an idiot.

Owens is just one of those rare players that makes everyone around them better. Case-in-point: do you REALLY think Crayton is an 800 yard-7TD receiver?

I'm wishing Owens age catches up to him very, very quickly :)

I think the argument was that Owens never played well against ST because he was terrified of him. That still holds true and always will.
