CBs dont help FSs, in fact it's the opposite, FS are the ones who provide help, so Taylor getting beat as badly as he was prone to do throughout his career, is the result of his, and only his, porous play, the only thing that affects DBs are the front 7, the pass-rush to be more specific

is that elaborate enough for you, you ignorant Commander fan?

yeah, he turned the corner, but was '07 just an aberration? we'll never know, so this crap that Taylor scared TO is just that, a bunch of useless, and stupid, Commander boasting, which is also what you idiot Commander fans are prone to do

Although Bob Sacamano is a very smart fan and nothing like tr1 in any way... I still can't help but like a Commanders fan who is bright enough to see that tr1 is a complete joke as a poster.

I think I like you a little now.

tr1 is to football message boards, what leprosy is to the modeling industry.

Wasn't Taylor the one who put that hit on the punter in the Pro Bowl?

I've only scanned the "Mess known as the ES" once and that guy's idiocy was on full blast! If he's typical of the posters on there then they truly reflect the clueless fans of the Black, Maroon, and Canary yellow here in DC! I just loved his thread on how "Dallas would be lucky to win eight games this season"! Priceless!

I believe he said Dallas would go 6-10 last season. Swing and a miss.

I think the argument was that Owens never played well against ST because he was terrified of him. That still holds true and always will.

This has to be one of, if not, the DUMBEST post ever posted. TO terrified of another player. Unbelievable!!!!

Sorry. I was a little queasy from thinking of tr1 and simply wasn't on top of my game.

Also, there's really no need. Kind of like saying the sky is blue.

The bad thing is, when he's COMPLETELY incorrect, he simply glosses over it and moves on to the next topic to slam the Cowboys about.

Absolutely no accountability for the garbage he spews out.

He said Romo would bomb last year (that Johnson was our best QB), among thousands of other garbage that he was wrong about.

I honestly think he has mental issues.

Cool. Fly on down and we'll do it.

First check out the McKelvin thread though... where I disagree with you.:

I must have been insane.

Now, I don't know TR1, but this is what just about every fan and "expert" does.

Either way, Champ Bailey had a "bad" year this year b/c the Broncos got NO pressure on the QB. Our DL had a historically pathetic showing in 06 and that directly affected our secondary play. Taylor has a fault of trying to win the game himself and he got burnt when he tried to jump routes. Normally, the pressure should have helped him out and forced the QB to throw it but it wasn't there.

Either way, Taylor was a good player in 05 as well. He pretty much carried the defense all the way to the divisional round (TD return against the Eagles, shutting down Glenn and TO both Cowboys games [not to mention blowing up Crayton on a play that should have been a fumble], causing a fumble that led to a defensive TD, that key 4th down stop in AZ to seal the win and those are just off the top of my head). I remember he also won two jump balls against Randy Moss as well, and you can probably count on one hand the number of players in the league that can do that.

07, of course, we'll never know. However, consider that he led the league in INTs, was easily playing the best as a safety and was completely shutting down the long pass. If we didn't lead the league in passes over 20 yards allowed (I believe one), we were top 3.

In response to whether he was a game-changer, he most definitely was. You can easily name 5-6 games he changed with his play, every year. Easily was the most catalytic player on the Skins.

LOL @ Taylor shutting down Glenn and Keyshawn from the safety position.

Torrin Tucker was more reponsible for that than Taylor was.

Dude... do you read the stuff he spews out?

I could understand someone saying that's what all fans do, IF they haven't read tr1's crap. However, I can't imagine anyone reading ATN and then saying what he does is like all fans do.

You really can't be saying that, can you? You seem bright enough to understand tr1 and his antics.

It would seem like enough for Commander fans to understand Sean's impact (or lack of) because once Taylor and Campbell were out of the lineup, the team made a run and squeaked into the post season.

I think it has to come from the other team to be "locker room material".
