Logan Wilson DNP- coaches error

Wilson was sold as a pair with Quennen Williams and fans actually bought it.

He’s still reading the flash card notes from the comments he made the day of the trade. The Wilson he described left the NFL in 2023 and he was too dumb to know what he was buying.

He probably was thinking what a steal he was getting and that idea has settled in his mind even though Wilson has regressed to the point that he’s almost out of the league.

He has no feel for talent whatsoever but knows there are still fans who hear him and believe.

Now, Shottenheimer and Eberflus don’t believe and that could be a problem because it smacks of rebellion.
It’s amazing the number of NFL scouts we have here at CZ.

I think we are glossing over the real issue here…the cowboys lb room is so bad that Logan Wilson not getting snaps is newsworthy.
This is not a good look for Borgonzi who came over with Eberflus from Chicago.

The overall LB situation has me really confused. Eberflus and Borgonzi were considered good LB coaches.

Waht happened in Dallas?

You’re so desperate to hate you don’t even realize that it’s the DC and his coaches responsible for rotating players in and out. Next you’ll be blaming Dak. :lmao2:
It's actually Borgonzi's job to remind Eberflus who is calling the plays.

Dave should know who is fresh and is suited for down and distance, and feed Matt with the information.

These aren't just decisions made in the sidelines, but also scripted in the weekly game plan.

The Schotty explanation is another example of a bad look. Give the media the classic trope of we needed to do some extra evaluation based on fluid game situations. Tell them Logan is a good players and he will be a part fo the team next game.

With everything the defence has been struggling under now he adds the "I/We forgot excuse".

Doesn't add a lot of confidence to the impression of the coaching staff. Especially on the defensive side.

Haters are blinded by the obvious. First, I said the DC and his coaches. Second, the HC said he was supposed to be in the rotation. The fact that he wasn’t, is the DC’s fault, not the HC who is too busy being a HC and OC to worry about defensive positional rotations.

We won't know what really happened here, but I disagree with Schotty's approach to answering the media.

You feed them nothing and keep the locker room safe. The media can snicker at you, but the players and the coaches know you have their back with the "we were focused on fluid down and distance situations" excuse.

Now on the other part of who is responsible. If there actually was an error the finger would clearly point to Borgonzi. His job is to stay with his unit and actively coach and manage them up during the game.

He is suppose to support Matt who is focused on calling the plays from upstairs. Eberflus has no clue who is ready to jump in from teh LBs unit. Only Borgonzi.

This was 100% intentional. This is Eberflus being petty since he’s been thrown under the bus and not playing Jerry’s acquisition. Not believing anything else

Agree with you on Borgonzi, but don’t agree with you about the HC. I love the accountability.

Wrong

It’s the head coaches job to ensure his staff is following the game plan, but he is too busy being an offensive coordinator and is not communicating with the defensive staff.

And he doesn’t take accountability for the error to top it off. So much about culture

Can you imagine the clown you responded to as a HC in the NFL? Jerry asks him to come to his office and sayd "Hey Rocky, as the HC of the team, shouldn't you have been aware that Logan was sitting at the end of the bench, and not on rotation." Rocky responds, "Sorry, Jerry, I am too busy being the HC and OC to have realized that, and can't worry about what happens on the defence." With 60,000+ posts, this is what Rocky thinks is acceptable. You cannot make this up if you tried to

Schotty doesn't care about an impression of confidence regarding the defensive staff. He knows as we all know they've been a disaster. There's only one game left in this pitiful season before they're all fired. Not really a secret.

Now this is grounds for the entire coaching staff to be fired. Coach's error WHAT!!!!!!
