Logan Wilson DNP- coaches error

At 7 wins, this team overachieved. With a chance to finish at 50% wins, it's way better than I predicted in the preseason. The "coaching error" doesn't surprise me. This defense is managed like an amateur organization. Jerry should be ashamed to let this happen. I'm sure heads will be rolling soon.

His second time around, yes. He wasn't a bad coordinator in 95 and 96 but then again we still had a lot of talent, especially in 95. I think the 96 team was ranked even better, even with losing Haley and Maryland and several linebackers and Larry brown.
Respectfully, I think the players made Campo and not the opposite.

I don't think it made a difference or could have made a difference, but this kind of error is just inexcusable. This is why I do not trust the Cowboys with their personnel management.
I would guess there are a lot of things that were missed by Eber this season.

They just got caught on this one.

Campo never had a QB. Some of his defenses were not bad, when he was HC.

Don’t know the story, but Bill Parcells likely helped get campo fired.

Lol :muttley:

Schottenheimer said it was a mistake to play Kenneth Murray all 44 snaps, Shemar James 36 snaps and Marist Liufau two snaps at linebacker without getting Wilson on the field.

“We do keep track of [snap counts],” Schottenheimer said. “Occasionally, you look at the numbers and they don’t make sense, and this one certainly didn’t make sense. We have to do better as a coaching staff with that.”
that tells me flus is ready for the offseason.

Even if this is not true and maybe the error was having him in a booth, and it was supposed to be Whitecotton getting rotations in and out, but it's probably good that if Jerry's that peeved over it that this is what Broke the camel's back as they say.

Take it whatever pushes Jerry over the edge to get rid of Matt Monday morning,

i'm good with it..

Agree with you on Borgonzi, but don’t agree with you about the HC. I love the accountability.
I have always felt a HC accountability should be to their GM, the owner, the players and their fellow coaches.

They can't be accountable to the media or the fans. That is too much on their plate.

, not the HC who is too busy being a HC and OC to worry about defensive positional rotations.

Seriously? Ask any of the other NFL head coaches about their defensive rotations and see if the answer is "I have no idea what happens or who's playing regarding our defense"

Good grief.....

I think the offensive coaching staff for this team is very good, and well put together.

Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the defensive and special teams staffs. I wouldn't advocate for keeping anyone out of those groups. Did not see any consistent improvement in the younger players, and the scheming wasn't great on defense or the coverage units on ST. Coaching is only part of the problem, as the talent on defense leaves a lot to be desired.

Run the franchise like a Circus and don't be surprised that the HC is actually the clown.

Doesn't matter, maybe we shave a few points from the 34 beating, but I doubt it. This defense is a cesspool.

Only because you aren't able to comprehend typed print, and are unable to admit you are totally clueless. Nobody in here cares about your thoughts, so you meet expectations 100%. At least you're consistent in your useless takes
No because all you do is hurl weak insults.
