Most of the best QB’s come in the first round, but there are exceptions to the rule. Got to take risks if the ceiling of a player is the divisional round. Dak has been given ample time to show his ability. It’s past time to move on-though Jerry is about to double down to general applause from some fans.
again everyone thinks my responses are to do with Dak..Im good drafting a QB and moving on..I have ZERO faith in the GM drafting the QB..he has literally gotten lucky with his last 2...the ones he wanted all were monumental failures..across the board..Carter, Johnny Money, Paxton I mean the list is long...

Dallas had 7 at the half......Our defense even holds them to 20...we probably still win by 10. Once the offense got going.
The defense did hold them to 20 in the first half. The other 7 was a pick six by you know who. The defense was bad and so was Dak.

Offense never got going. The 32 points are a joke, half coming in the final 7 minutes against a prevent defense. Dallas was never in the game.

Even if he had the steel curtain D from the 70's Yak would find a way to loose. I have said all along that it's not entirely on him, but he's just not the guy to elevate his game when its all on the line. He's in the league 8 years and I'm sue he has seen every defensive scheme over that time so if it aint happened, it's not going to happen. Carve it in stone.

You better save this sermon for Micah also. You think he's going to take a pay cut  CeeDee going to take a pay cut:laugh:
If either of them was demanding to be paid more than anyone in league history, I'd be the first one saying this about them.

But they're not demanding that. Dak is. So this is another straw man argument with the sole purpose of defending Dak.

It's telling that you didn't address a single point in my post but instead it's "But Micah" or "But Cee Dee"

Every QB on that list except for Foles is better than Prescott, what's your point? KC hasn't had great defenses. The Rams had a very good but not great defense.
wow take out Brady and Mahomes then say that again...

And that was the only time Greenbay punted the rest of the game until after they got 48. You can whine Dak all day. Dak gave up 10 point's. Defense 38!!! Numbers don't lie.
Im not a Dak lover or hater..

Im pretty sure I will have to be rooting for the guy for a few years yet.. so no point me bashing him.

but..........

Dak himself said he "sucked"... are you right and he is wrong?

he did suck...the crazy part is why..why did we go into a playoff game with the #1 offense with the best WR and MVP QB and the #5 defense with what most would say is the most dynamic defensive player and a CB balling to again watch them ALL fold like lawnchairs...

I would say coaching.. that was a weird game and "nobody" looked ready.

He's not asking for more money??? Where have you seen him sitting out wanting more???? His contract is up. When your contract is up or your Union contract is up. You go in for what you think is the fair price for a days work. The fair price for a guy like Dak in the NFL is 60 million. You in Dak's shoes? You going to say "no thanks"???
No it's not. Fair price for Dak is around 40. No reason why the "next man up" should get more when he's not as good as the previous. That makes no logical sense.

If we pay Dak 60, it'll soon be back to 8-8.

!. Wilson...... 2 year
2.Brady.......2 years
3.Manning.......nine years
4.Brady
5.Foles......1 year wonder
6.Brady
7.Mahomes....2 years
8.Brady
9.Stafford........12 years
10.Mahomes....
The quarterbacks that won early had a great defense. The rest of them were just Phenoms. So by any measure possible. Dak is right where he needs to be . He's not phenomenal. He doesn't have a dominate defense....So? Why then? Are some so down on his career thus far??? Makes no sense. Here in black and white you see no other quarterbacks has done crap. That includes Jackson. Allen...Herbert....Burro
Foles was at least a 2 year wonder, and was better in 2013 than the SB season of 2016, although he was excellent in the playoffs both years.

Peyton was a 9 time 1st Team All Pro. 2 SB rings, and he was crappy the season of his 2nd ring. 2015 was the first season he played (he missed 2011) that he didn't make the Pro Bowl since 2001. He retired after 2015, despite "winning the SB", because he just wasn't good anymore.

A ring is *not* all about the QB. 53 players + coaches. Rings are won by *teams*.

If you want to evaluate a player, look at *his* play, not whether he rode a great team to a ring.

Even with a D he had put no points on the board against top teams in the first half. Also it’s extremely rare to be this far along and just “get it.”
Last 2 playoff games, 2 INTs each. Obviously the Denver game was lost before halftime.

Dak seems to pucker up against good defenses in big games. Often loosens up once they're behind, but he was just throwing bad passes early in the game.

In terms of "getting it" late in their career, Romo did. Dak has improved himself in a lot of areas. Maybe he'll keep improving. On the bright side, besides the ankle, he's been sturdy. His arm still has zip. He's probably got years to go before physical limitations to his arm limit his game.

Why are you mad at Dak for this??? Jerry could of signed Dak earlier and got him for 20 to 25 million... But idiot wanted to wait. 60 million dollars later. Here we are. You telling me you'd turn down 60 million if that was your job market after your company made the mistake of not paying you less when they could have????
This absolutely not true. Dak turned down not one but two market value offers choosing to "bet on himself". The offers were 30 million and then 32 million over five years.
