LOL! Ed Werder ON ESPN said Jerry Ripped Team in the locker Room...

Sad thing is there were probably 3 WR's saying screw you after shilling out 1/2 next years draft and paying Roy #11 franchise money. Team looking at JJ saying why is Brad Johnson our backup again?

A team that has laid down in December for a long time now. Something is not right here and Parcells/Phillips not all the problem. Starts at the top.

I'll give you a quick, but much needed math lesson.

If you have 2 sets of Patriot nighties, and you give one away.....you have given away half of your Patriot nighties.

If you start with 12 Patriot nighties, and you give away 3 Patriot nighties, you now have given away 1/4 of your nighties.

Hope that helps. Apply it.

Firing a coach that is 13-3 last year and has shown he can get it done sounds insane to me.

We didn't have our starting All Pro QB who also has this offense built around him. Our starting CBs were out. You guys shouldn't be surprised this happened esp with the way it started getting behind that quickly that far.
:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::bang2::bang2:

You sound like Wade Phillips constantly bringing up the fact that the team went 13-3 last year, despite the fact it was Jason Garret's offense that led the team to a 13-win season.

When has wade ever shown he can get it done? :bang2:

Jerry has every reason to be mad, we all do.

But Jerry should leave the yelling at players to the coaches.

He does have EVERY right to yell at the coaches however. This is pathetic.

Yeah, I don't think last season turned out to be a ringing endorsement of this coaching staff's abilities.

13-3 was nice. But it turned into a complete and utter disaster with that first-game playoff exit.

You can't brush the playoffs under the rug and act as if the regular season was all that mattered.

Off the road is right. This is the coach's job, not the owner/GM. No wonder these guys won't play.
This thing won't be fixed enough to win a SB until the buck stops at the head coach.

This puts the problem in focus...this is the coach's job! Not Jerry's.

Good news for this team is that just about every player and coach will soon be qualified to write the book, "How to turn a Super Bowl season into chaos in three easy steps."

Man, most of these guys are still living off the Nineties Super Bowls.;)

I don't like Jerry doing it either. But just do play devil's advocate -- since it is, as you said, the coaches job to rip the players. What do you do when the coach refuses to do so?

I don't think it matters till people start losing their jobs.....

You fire the coaches, at least that is what I do.

During Jerry's meddling we have put pieces in place to be good for the next 5 years.

Romo, Barber, Felix, RWR, Witten, etc - are cornerstones for a franchise. We've tried to put those same caliber guys in place on defense but have been let down time and time again.

I think the problem begins more along the lines of Spears, Canty, James, Burnett, Carpenter, Henry, Roy Williams etc constantly being liabilities across the board.

We've needed these guys to elevate their play at the same pace as the guys on offense - and they have let us down time and time again.

If you want to summarize our entire defense the past 3 years check the Rams first big TD. Play action, absolutely no pass rush out of anyone besides 94, Henry and Roy chasing, TD Rams.

Since no one can fire the GM.:D

Maybe Stephen could start slipping his pops some sleeping pills so he sleeps through team meetings...slowly taking over the reigns until Jerry is just an afterthought.

I'm thinking that JJ tries to fire up the players on the sidelines during games, after losses, etc. because Wade DOESN'T have the aptitude/ability to do it.

Wade is a nice guy, probably TOO nice, IMO. I don't think the players worry too much if they screw up, say, once a game. They aren't held as accountable as they would under some "tougher" coaches.

Neither did Parcells

Sorry, I disagree.

IMO, BP was respected by most of the players, instilled a bit of fear in the players, and at least got the team with less talent - i.e., Q Carter, Hambrick - into the playoffs.

No, BP didn't get us deep into the playoffs, but he did help build a good foundation and players were accountable.

IMO, the players played hard.

That's why they trashed him when he was gone.

Most of the same foundation we have here today?
