I don't think you could find a more balanced trade than that.

Adding Barbie would make it more balanced IMO.

Nope, that'd be overkill.

Dolphins would likely have to throw in next years 1st if Carp was included.

Hey SD, if the cowboys do move up in the draft, do you also suppose they would do so to select Thomas?

I believe realistically thats the only reason Dallas would move up that far unless Berry somehow dropped. I'm assuming here your talking about the #12 pick.

Listen it's no secret Dallas likes Earl Thomas but they also have strong interest in McClain. I just dont think and I have nothing to support this that Dallas would move up to 12 for McClain at the cost of Earl Thomas or at all.

Now if Dallas for some reason made this move pre-draft (which I dont think is smart nor likely) and Earl Thomas was gone, it would take Jerry about 2.5 seconds to hand in the card on McClain.

I don't see it happening, but two years ago the Jaguars went from #26 all the way up to #8 without having to throw in the following year's #1 pick.

Right when I was getting ready to post that the price to move up to 12 was too high.

I like Earl Thomas just as much as the next guy..but I would have to think long and hard about moving up to #12 to get him

I understand that but I guess it depends on the price. If Dallas could move up to #12 and get Earl Thomas and still keep #27 would feel the same way?

everyone wants to keep our pick and acquire the 12th by dealing off average stars, none star caliber. often the case with fans, we expect to give up mid level talent or trash and get stars and top picks in return

for teams to take players in trades we know we wouldnt do ourselves.
dont see us getting the 12th unless it involves us giving up a pick as well as a player. were not going to give up any of our key guys good enough to garner the 12th

moving barber an expendable player and our 27th to move up to 12th is more then reasonable. it is not a big loss for us at all. that would be a great trade

I would probably like that even less..the price on that seems a lot higher than moving up from 27..now I am just guessing here, but I would imagine that you could squeeze out a cheaper deal by swapping firsts and adding to pick 27 than taking a team entirely out of rd 1 altogether.

Really?

I mean he's a great talent and just so happens to fill a huge need for us.

I think you have to at least consider it man..

Exactly how do you do that?
thats what i would like to know to smh

buy giving up bums or mid level players? if we want to move up our pick will have to be a part of the negotation

unless we suddenly want to dish off one of our better players which isnt happening

fans always think their trash is a treasure to other teams as far as trades go lol laughable

With a team like the Dolphins and them knowing our players(Parcells) I don't think it would be at costly as you may think.

Unless you really value Barber and Crayton.
