I think some of the players they like could be had a little later, so it makes sense to drop down some.

The Cowboys' focus on RB's is highly unusual considering we have three guys who other teams would love to have.

McCluster is a guy that I think teams are hiding their affection for; I don't think the latter stages of round one is that much of a reach for him. Baltimore is a possible destination and don't rule out the Jets at #29 to get a playmaker.

I don't see it happening, but two years ago the Jaguars went from #26 all the way up to #8 without having to throw in the following year's #1 pick.

And it was a great cautionary tale on the dangers of giving up too much for one player.

Um yes please. The only problem I have with McClain as the pick is he wouldn't be an impact player this year. Where would he play? Most of us want a championship now and we would essentially be wasting a year with McClain. Not to mention we most likely wouldn't have Barber,Crayton ect..that was used for ammo to get him. So your actually looking at a step backwards because McClain isn't being utilized and you don't have Barber and Crayton.

I actually think it would be more players from our team, rather than our picks. If Ronnie goes to SD, Barber would look alot more enticing to the Phins.
It's very likely that whoever Dallas picks will not have a huge impact this year.

Well cmon..Derrick Harvey. Give me a break. Fitting that a team called the jags would pick him.

Is it safe to say Earl Thomas is the player Dallas wants to walk away with in the first?

That could all change if Jordan Shipley somehow makes it out of the top 10

The Rams would be silly to pass on Shipley #1 overall

My sources are telling me the Rams like Bradford the most. They are quite silly though, I mean jeez, they did only win 1 game last year.

I think everyone who doubts it are forgetting who Bill Parcells is and how much value he places on "his" players.

Exactly. People also seem to have forgotten that Bradie James was a BP pick. How about Bradie and our #27 for their 12? They get an experienced MLB and still have a 1st round pick, and we move up to draft Bradie's replacement (a guy who can actually cover!)

I dont want anyone at #12 unless Berry falls, i'd rather Butler in the 3rd than trading up for McClain.

They just signed crowder and dansby to huge contracts bro.

Zero chance that bradie james is sent to miami.

Barber Crayton and spears for 12?

are you serious? if we made that trade I would do backflips..there is no way Miami could be that dumb

If we did that I'd want Jerry killed. We really want to trade those 3 players for a draft pick? Not me. You never even know how well a draft pick will turn out. We'd be giving up two starters AND a very productive receiver. I know we have Choice and Jones, and Barber is a bit of a luxury now, but I still wouldn't give up him, Crayton, and Spears for the 12th pick. I might be in the minority, but no way I'd make that trade.

I am not sure why anyone would be surprised with a trade with Miami. We know that we are looking at 9 or 10 new faces. At 12, have to figure it is either Earl Thomas or Rolando McClain. Really think Thomas goes 10 or 11 so that would leave McClain.

As to impact, he would immediately take Carpenter 3rd down series and most likely start for Brooking either by the end of the year or certainly next year. There isn't a single guy we draft that will probably have anymore impact than McClain.

Remember Wade isn't a fan of using rookies. Took time for Jenkins and Jones to start, like a year or more.

As to the trade, could be interesting to see what we would give up because have to believe Jerry doesn't want to give up any picks. My bet is that it would involve Spears, Carpenter, Watkins, Crayton and Siavii. Those take care of all of Miami needs and are all Ireland and Parcells guys except Siavii where they are really hurting.

Really don't see Barber going anywhere but definitely see Choice being moved on draft day. Regardless, any trade for players isn't going down until draft day because you don't want another team jumping you to get the player you want. So right now, it is just a rumor although one with some teeth to it.
