Nothing against you. But to say the referees dont decide games. The facemask on bease in the Pittsburgh game could have costed us because it wasnt called. IF they didnt make the same mistake again on the next play we lose that game. Was that because of our defense?

I never said an officiating call hasn't decided a game but the call on Butler didn't decide our game. Penalties are part of the game and the officiating crews are heavily scrutinized and graded by the league. One officials bad call can affect the entire crew because there was at least one situation where an entire crew got fired because of a bad call that cost a team a game. There's cameras all over the place including millions of people at home watching these games and the last thing an official or crew wants to do is make a bad call that puts a negative spotlight on them. It could haunt an official for years to be the one who made the bad call. This is why officials gather together to try and get it right but not every official sees the play.

Had the Cowboys handled their huddle situation better it wouldn't have confused the officials. We ended up drawing that penalty due to how we handled that huddle. I don't get caught up with what would have happened if this call or that call wasn't made. The Benny Barnes phantom PI in the SB was the only call I can remember beating myself up over and tearing into the officials because the official that made that call was 15 yards away from the play. The call was so bad the league confirmed it was a bad call and it resulted in the incidental contact rule a few months later. The bottom line is our defense continues to cost us playoff games.

Here's another thing, KJJ. The Packers offensive line has not been called for holding in a playoff game for THREE YEARS. That penalty was not accepted, you have to back TEN playoff games and five years ago to find an accepted holding penalty, which was when they faced the Giants. 2 holding penalties in 5 years has nothing to do with referees, right?

So what does that mean in your eyes that the league wants the Packers to win? One reason they don't get a lot of holding calls is because Rodgers gets flushed out of the pocket a lot trying to extend plays. If we had a better pass rush we would draw more holding calls. The Packers and Rodgers are 5-5 in the playoffs since their last SB win in 2010.

I'm not talking wins and losses, I'm talking holding penalties. 10 games, 2 penalties. You are grasping at straws here, face facts.

I told you Rodgers gets flushed out of the pocket a lot extending plays, you don't see a lot of holding calls in those situations. With our lack of a pass rush we don't draw a lot of holding calls. If our defense played worth a damn no one wouldn't be pointing the finger at one call that went against us. The blame for that loss is squarely on the defense.

Wait a minute. They don't get called for holds because hes flushed out? That's literally when THE MOST holding calls are called because lineman are sitting their trying to protect their QB. Come on dude. You are better than that.

Its ok, when a QB is extending a play, holds are rarely called. With that logic, just stop arguing.

No, I understood your point the first time, weak as it was. No one is buying it. The loss is NOT squarely on our defense. If the referees had called a fair game, and we lost, then it would be squarely on the defense. The referees invalidated your point.. A win or loss by either team is not obvious, the bad officiating skewed the result, and masked the diagnosis to make each team better.

Dallas could have won the game if they had called offensive holding on just the pass before the final field goal. We would have seen an overtime period, which would have been an amazing sight to see. All of us were deprived.

You are not a Cowboys fan, you are an Officials Fan, from now on!

Those are the most disciplined o linemen ever. 376 passes, 1 holding call. (1 was on a run).

Yah, bad calls are made equally on both sides...

The way "Rodgers" moves around you don't see a lot of holding calls on the Packers OL. Not saying that's true for other QBs but Rodgers has great mobility to escape pressure. Dude, we're not talking about just any QB.

Not going to spend anymore time with you on this because you're more lost in space than the Robinson family with all your conspiracy theories. Your agenda is to spend the entire offseason on this call like you did the Dez non catch. You're a waste of time!

The Ro-bison family??? Given your weak arguments, I expected you to reply, "Your and idiot" It's not a conspiracy theory especially if the lack of offensive holding calls were played out over half a decade in front of millions of fans.

Back in the NFL offices on Monday for you. Cringing at visiting the Falcons or Packers or Steelers or Patriots boards when the officials screw up another game on Sunday. Does the NFL give a bonus for the extra time you put in on Saturday?

No one's arguments are weaker than yours accusing posters of being shills for the league and spending all your time on this board blaming another officiating call for another Cowboys playoff loss. They need to create a forum for all your conspiracy theories as comic relief so everyone can get a big laugh. lol

I'm saying that the officiating affected the game, the Cowboys still might have lost it. Poor officiating happened and no one is laughing. Good luck this weekend, hope your referees win the game for you and face off against the AFC champs.

The fact that Blandino glosses over the second part of that rule especially with how vehemently he defended the Dez call makes me think there is something up. But maybe that's the LEO in me.

One thing that is up is that Blandino is a maroon.
