I'm getting sick of these incompetent officials and there being absolutely no accountability for their pitiful performances. This is something they do part time so even if they were to be booted, wouldn't mean a thing to to them. This has to be one of the worst calls I've ever seen in my football watching life. For one, it's a call that has not been called since 1984. And second, the language of the rule did not even apply to Butler. I used to think NBA refs were the worst but I think NFL has them beat now. Too many times they are influencing these games with their b.s. calls. And some days later be like "oh hey, yeah we ***** up. sorry lol".

Go F yourself NFL with your clown show circus officials.

UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE.

The league is better off shutting up and hoping people forget rather than infuriating fans with a hallow apology after-the-fact.

Well.......................makes no difference now. They apologize every week.
The playoffs go on..................without the Cowboys.

I just want to see what would've happened if they would've went up 10-7 then kept zeke in the game throughout. Feels like they win if that call isn't made I swear
Don't worry, the officials still would have found a way to slow us down.

I'm sure there are several other extremely obscure penalties they could have incorrectly pulled out of their backsides which haven't been called in 33 years.

Where's the accountability part?

Who gets tared and feathered?

That's the issue. There is none. These are men doing this on their spare time. Most are esteemed professionals in another industry doing very well for themselves. Being reprimanded means zilch to them.

It wasn't even just this call. It's how some of these blatant holds by GB were allowed. Especially Irving being tackled to the ground on the last play before the game winning FG. Right in front of the official behind the play whose specifically looking for holding. Allowing the defender to tackle Witten in the endzone right in front of the ref. But yet on our side, we got got called for a suspect holding call where the defender sold it and any ticky tack contact, we got the defensive penalty. Especially on that Heath interception where Rodgers and the receiver were not on the same page. He airmails it 10 yards over his head and Heath is there. This is when it was 31-31. You could lip read Garrett saying "are you f'ing kidding me".

I'm sick of these refs.

Not that it makes one iota's difference, but I never saw where the NFL apologized. They merely stated that the call shouldn't have been made.
