London calling

[Londonboy]

Quite a few names I recognize here (so many that it's looking like a reunion party for disgruntled DCcom members).
But for Those that don't know Me, I'm Londonboy (but You can call Me Londy).
My principle aim is to have fun with Guys and Gals who share My love for Da Boys.
I love good natured joshing about Cultural stereotypes, so feel free to have a pop at Merry Old England (as long as You're OK with a bit coming back).
I know enough about Football to make a contribution to discussions (been an avid fan since the mid 80's), but I wouldn't call Myself an expert.
My only pet hate is the "S word" (the one that rhymes with Docker) and I always use Futbol to distinguish the beautiful game from Football.
One last thing, I always capitalize pronouns.

Where's your spotted dick? Gawd help me I love writing that even though it's a freakin' dessert. I've been on good behavior since I got here and that's as close as I can get to being naughty. Oh, I;ve seen some **** words but by the time I figure out what the word is, my brain is exhausted and I need another nap.

Y'all are gonna like Londy and his sidekick DoctorChicken, aka bbic. Think Benny Hill and that old sidekick of his. And they change places so easily.

Glad you pond jumpers made it over. Couldn't agree more about the uselessness of soccer; however, that is one word spelled correctly as compared to Futbol, which is two words spelled incorrectly. And on this side of the water, two wrongs do not make a right.

In fairness to our ratios, we've only had the 'likes' functionality for a couple of years, while many of us have been posting for many more than that.

There's also a fair amount of like-inflation the moderators get, since, you know, we're amazing. Completely unlike that witch at the other site, except when it comes to benching Sarek, which is hilarious. And I think there's a bit of gamesmanship that goes on with the likes mechanism from a group of posters from one of the rival forums. You guys could ban together and start liking everything in sight, for example, and and make out like bandits. Or pikeys, as they're called across the pond.

Can I just say how much better a name 'DoctorChicken' is than 'blueberry' by the way? What's up with that?

One last thing, I always capitalize pronouns.

If people call you "Londy", they'll mispronounce it if they meet you in person.......That's why I've been calling you "Lundy"...and always will!

You'll learn that Blueberryicedcoffee has very bad taste in nearly everything....Hell, he apparently likes blueberry iced coffee....'Nuff said.
