This Romo is a choker is pretty silly stuff. If you go to the playoffs and don't win your last game, then obviously your team lost and many times things didn't go so well. This has happened more than once to Manning, Warner, Favre, etc.Disturbed;3245329 said:I have always cheered for Romo who came from small school, sat for a few years and learned, and then burst onto the scene in a big way. A feel good underdog story that makes everyone want to see him win.
But many have said that the Cowboys will never win the big one with Romo because "he chokes" during the big games. I didn't believe that the first few years, but now I am starting to think maybe they were right all along. He has proven the past two years that at the end of the season, when it counted the most, he has hurt this team and contributed in a big way to our embarrassing losses.
Tony does not appear to be smart enough to deal with the pressure (on and off the field). And he chokes the biggest at the end of the season...particularly in the playoffs on the road....when the pressure and stress are at the highest.
Down the stretch, I'd say other than the last game, Romo played very well. All of those games were big (some huge), and a few on the road--yet he didn't choke in any of them. Some of you guys need perspcective.
