This is exactly right, and a very big reason why Dallas alternates good and bad seasons.

It’s among several factors that made things seem better than they actually were…for a very long time.

Every first-place division team from 2021 plays 3 first place division teams from 2021 that are not part of the yearly whole division roatation schedule.
This situation is not unique to the Cowboys.
If the team is is very good, top notch, dominant in its own division plus beating most of their other opponents - those three games aren't as significant (Patriots from 2001-2019, Chiefs since 2016, Packers from 2010).
Cowboys have mostly handled their divisional rivals since 2016; where they have derailed themselves (outside of Prescott missing most of 2020) is losing 3 out of 4 games to the AFC division during that stretch.

Hurts can only dream of having the arm Vick had and doesn't have the outright speed of Vick, who is the best runner as a QB ever seen in the NFL. But I guess its nice to have the 3rd best running QB in Eagles history, behind Vick and Cunningham.

How old are you? When Vick came back to the NFL he was a much better QB after Reid got ahold of him. Hurts will never be in the same ballpark as Vick. Vick could throw a ball 70 yards in the air. Hurts is lucky when he gets a ball past 50. Hurts has poor accuracy as well, but at least Vick got better. Football IQ? Hurts can barely read past one progression. Prime Vick behind that line with those receivers? Pfft. Game over for the NFC. Hurts will not be in that ballpark. Howie is already looking at next year's QB's coming out in the draft.
