Yep the Rams game hurts.

I think the Packers game hurt a little more with how it played out in the hand but both were terrible losses. We just melted down at the wrong time. Denver game seems to be a complete deviation from normal for both teams. We are not that bad and Denver is not even close to being that good. Chalk that up to wacky early year games in Denver for the road team.

If we miss the playoffs, the Rams/Packers games are obviously to blame. You can't lose back to back home games like that. We now have little room for error even to get a wild card, much less the division. Now still a lot of season left and teams will start beating up on each other and hand each other more losses.

To win the East, you might need 12 wins.

so let's say 12-4

assume that means 11-4 entering week 17.
That means you are predicting Dallas will be 9-6 or worse entering week 17 to make that game meaningless.
So you're predicting Dallas loses at 3 (or more) of the next 8 games?

Hard to say right now because I need to see how our defense plays against KC and Atl. If we somehow win next sunday then maybe I am feeling like 10-6 is a possibility. The next 2 is the real challenge because both the Chiefs and Falcons have a better offense than San Fran and Washington. So my focus is still on the wildcard right now. Now if we beat KC and atl to be 6-3 on the night of 11/19 then I may feel winning the division is a possibility since a win would have us a game behind the eagles at 7-3 with them going to seattle two weeks after that.

yep, the Packer game hurts but most didn't figure we would win that game, and 12 always pulls something out of his *** against us. Losing to the Lambs at home was brutal, especially after getting out to a lead.

I never realized what a cupcake schedule the Eagles have had so far, Commanders twice, Giants, Chargers, Cardinals, 49ers.. I can definitely see them crashing back to earth.

I don't know, we were a field goal block away from being in real trouble yesterday.
That team was the second most horrible team we will face all year and it wasn't exactly a convincing victory.
If we take out the Chiefs next week I'll hop on the playoff talk bandwagon.
That team we played yesterday is a division rival. I’m sure as a Cowboys fan you didn’t expect it to be easy. Division games rarely are, regardless of the teams records. You can bet the Giants for all their issues, they will be tough on any NFC East team they play down the stretch.

The team we played yesterday was missing three starters on their offense of line a fourth starter was hobbled and the center was a rookie along with missing other players on the defensive side of the ball we should have annihilated them I don't care where in the hell they are division or non division.
The only reason it was close is because we continually shot ourselves in the foot.
Again if we beat the Chiefs I'll be ready to talk playoffs all day long.

Without Zeke for six games, we have to rely heavily on Dak and good solid coaching and game planning. I am very confident in Dak.
