Go down to the local horse ranch or animal shelter and tell them you're there for the pilot position. You want to pile some here and pile some there.

:laugh2:

One other thing that comes to mind is, have you ever thought about trying out for Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders?

I can say without a doubt I have not.

Never worked as a cashier or bank teller but I have some friends who used to do that. I've heard some horror stories. A bank teller has to be one of the worst jobs because people arn't patient when it comes to their money. Seems like most of the bank tellers around me are pretty clueless anyways. They go by the book 99% of the time and never just use common sense.
When I became a commercial teller, it was a lot better.

Commercial tellers dealt with a slightly better clientele and generally not as many customers as the regular tellers.

Ask any teller and it's always rough around these days. 1, 3, 5, 15, 20, 30/31. Payday..

You can mow my yard for $25 a week.

Hey you have to start somewhere.

:D
Forgot to add that I'll throw in a extra $10 if you edge around everything.

Side note: apply at all the temp agencies you can. They deal with far more businesses than you can apply to.

I HIGHLY recommend this.

For some reason people turn their nose up at temp agencies, but when I was between contracts, they found me a night job that I worked at for a year thru the agency and another year as a permanent employee.

Really? Man, we always called them humpers on the sites. It made for some great jokes and the kids always enjoyed it from what I could see.

Construction sites are hardly PC. So the world may not call them that anymore, but I bet most sites still do.

Oh heck yeah, Hos. On the construction sites it's still humper or gopher. Some take offense, especially if they were in college and just working for the summer. 'Helper' is what they wanted. Want in one hand and crap in the other, humper.

Ran into a similar gig with plumbers. Never call a plumber a plumber. Imagine that. They're 'Pipe fitters' these days. Union or not. Got a tongue lashing over that one.

Good luck. I'm looking for a job too. I couldn't handle the last job. I've worked at a furniture warehouse, a roofing yard, and a window factory. I blew chunks my last day at the job and had chest pains. That job wasn't for me. People can ridicule me all they want.

Ease up psycho.

You listed three jobs and I was just wondering which one.

I was actually going to say that I've been in a similar position from roofing. On the roof, a hot day can damn near be deadly.

****ing take a chill pill.

So I guess jumping to the conclusion you are a construction worker is fair?

How is it?

You take a chill pill and I'm not a psycho.

You asked some opened ended question like some wierdo.

What do you want?

Open ended?

I asked a question like what day it is.

There's no opened ended about it.

Here's another opened ended question. What number does Romo wear?

Whatever though, if you're not cool with answering I really don't care.
