So you're saying if they kept Murray then he would've had another 1800yd season?
Well I doubt they would have given him as many carries, JG had said in 2015 they would give him the ball less than in 2014.
My point is they knew what murray could and couldnt do, exactly, so this allows them to scheme and plan knowing what they
can do on offense.
They could run the same offense again, and teams would fear murray and the run attack, which helps romo and pass game.
But with no murray and the RB's they now have , they dont know anything about what they can or cannot do, they can only guess at it.,
So now they just have to experiment and ad lib till they figure out what current backs can do and cannot do.
If they are wanting a SB run this year , had they kept murray it would have been much easier, and worth the money if they did make the SB and win.
1800 or 1300 or 2000 doesnt matter, it would be the first downs or 5 yards on 1st down stuff that matter.
Dallas had a high 3rd down conversion rate and that was due to the yards murray got on 1st down . That is why they most always ran
on 1st down.
Murray had his flaws, but so do other players, they should have kept him , and reverse is he should have stayed here, he had a good setup
here and no state income tax. I think he jumped at the offer too quick without thinking it thru.
With endorsements etc, I think he could have made as much here or more than he will there.
