The way I see it, if a team beats you fair and square on the field of play, then you gotta tip your hat and acknowledge that they were better. No excuses, no dropped sure thing INTs, no holding not called, no nothing. If you get beat, then you've been beaten and you gotta acknowledge the fact that the other team is better. If you ask me, I will say Tech is better this year. EOS in my book.

Sorry you and I will never agree. TT beat you but it doesn't mean they are the better team. I think TT had a bad day when they played OU that one game. I don't think if they played again it would be that lopsided. But the way you make it, if we played TT fifty times, OU would win every time because we are the better team.

Don't know how you reached that conclusion but essentially, here is how I see it. In College, you have one shot at each team in your. What you do with that shot is up to you. In the Case of Texas and OU, if you lose that game and your records are the same, then the winner is the better team. Now, if you had two or three chances, like you do in the Pros, then it would be different. You don't so it is what it is. Tech was better then we were this year. We are better then OU. It's that simple.

Do we really want to dig into OU's cheating past?

Sooners is basically another word for cheaters. It's arguable that your only legit National title that didn't come from cheating came in Stoops 2nd year.

Sticking your chest out about 3 National titles in the 50's is just laughable as well.

If for some strange reason OU wins the BCS title this year you can go ahead and put a big fat asterisk on that crystal ball. And that goes for any team that wins it this year.

Catch - please stay out of these threads? I don't know how nicely I can put that.

Not only are you not a fan of college football (you have said this yourself time and time again) but you hate Oklahoma. It is so obivious that you have nothing positive to bring into these threads so why bother?

I find it a bit ODD that a person like yourself would even take the time to come in and dump all over threads just to dump all over them. What is that all about? Are you really that miserable irl?

It am so tired of how you come into threads to focus on killing them. You do it here and you do it on the main boards.

IGNORE THEM

I can put you on ignore, I guess. That really sucks. I guess I am just trying to get a point across.

If you cannot stop yourself from posting w/ all the hateful emotion that you do, then go outside and take a breather BEFORE you post?

It would really be welcomed. Our Hornfans will even like it. They won't say anything now because all you are doing is hating on Oklahoma, but I know for certain if the show were on the other foot, they would.

Chill out man

Let's just hope that in the future, that this won't happen again and always may the best team go forward whether you think it happened this time or it did not. I love Oklahoma football but like I told some Texas fans at work who know me well, I only get involved between the back and forth because it makes the season more enjoyable.:)

So... what do you think the record would be if you played UT 50 times?

Please don't say 49-1...

According to your logic, Tech is better than TX, TX is better than OU and OU is better than Tech.

Now if you'll excuse me my head is about to explode :D

I'm sorry, but as a fan of Texas football, and a hater of anything OU football, I'd like to say that you have absolutely no credibility.

You're opinion is clouded with bias and you should probably never watch college football again.

You have no clue what you are talking about. I have read many of your posts, and you seem to only address problems that cater to your faulty opinion.

The computers are there to determine stats that no human could possibly calculate. They calculate strength of schedule, and the strength of schedule of opponents.

The Texas head to head argument was enough to keep Texas close to OU in the polls. OU has more quality wins, and their loss was not near as ugly as Texas'.

Everyone saw OU's jump coming after Texas lost to Tech because OU had some very high ranked foes on their schedule, one who beat Texas.

OU's win against the now Big East Champion, and win against highly ranked TCU was a pretty nice non conference resume. Then, their final run added to that is why they are ranked higher.

If anything, fault the Big 12, not the BCS. The BCS did it's job and ranked OU higher due to their strength of schedule and other stats. Oh and not to mention the coaches ranked them higher as well. Let's not forget that Bob Stoops has no vote in the coaches poll.

OU didn't make the rules.

Next year, they'll fix that rule and then Texas will complain about something else. Let's not forget that Texas has had this head to head thing come up before, only they were on the other side. Go check the '06 season and all the b.s. Mack Brown spewed to lobby against aTm's head to head argument.

The rules are set up for a 3 way scenario, and Texas' lack of acknowledging Tech is laughable.

OU will abide by the rules next year if they are changed, just like they did this year.

What do you have to say about Texas struggling in Austin against Oklahoma State? That is the X-Factor. Texas struggled in their final part of their "gaunlet."

You let your bias overlook other parts of the season other than just the head to head.

I know you hate OU, so do I, but you're opinion is unbelievably flawed.

And it's funny how you address cheating. You're like a little kid crying foul just because he/she cannot win.

OU didn't cheat for anything. OU is just like every other major program, only they have always been under the microscope.

Barry Switzer admits guilt to just about every single infraction handed down to him. If you ever take the time to look into his story, you'll understand that many things that he was accused of, is actually legal now. Thanks to him, players that come from families in poverty are now able to work, and receive financial help from the universities. Joe Paterno was a huge advocate of Switzer.

One day, people will be able to look past their silly little kool aid jug and give credit where credit is due. OU has put up a historic offensive season and looked bad ONCE. Texas struggled down the turn and didn't look like a championship team on their own turf against Okie State.

An asterik against OU's title if they win it all? You sir, are a laughable fan and anyone who takes you seriously, including yourself, are some incredibly flawed college football fans.

And FYI, USC's national championship in '04 is the only title that should require an asterisk. There was another undefeated team from a BCS conference that didn't get a shot.

I don't hear you silly people denouncing that title. Of course, Catch 17 wants to denounce OU's title in 2000 because Miami not getting in was a travesty.

Silly. They won't mention the fact that FSU had the best offense in the nation that year and OU SHUT IT DOWN.

Damn, why do you ignorant anti OU people put unbiased anti OU people like me in a position to stick of for those goons?

LOL! Hank Johnson, my friend, you are truly in a league of your own!

You refuse to blindly side with biased UT fans (even though you do claim to be a fan of the 'Horns). You refuse to allign yourself with biased OU fans (despite the fact that you argue for them to be in the Big XII Championship along with their many other merits that you are a proponent of).

Dude, the balls on you.
