Not at all. In fact, if you would make the point that Texas Tech is better then we are, I would have to say your right. They proved it. Of course, that also translates into the best team is not representing the Big12 South this year.

I would have to disagree.

Tech is only better than Texas if they get Texas after not playing anyone all year and getting Texas at the end of a brutal 4 game stretch @ home.

If Tech played a fresh Texas, on a neutral field, like Oklahoma , their fate would end the same way Oklahoma's did.

After determining the Big-12 championship game participants the BCS computers were put to work on other major contests and today the BCS declared Germany to be the winner of World War II.

Their only losses came against the US and Russia; however considering their entire body of work--including an incredibly tough Strength of Schedule--our computers deemed them worthy of the #1 ranking."

Questioned about the #4 ranking of the United States the BCS commissioner stated "The US only had two major victories--Japan and Germany. The computer models, unlike humans, aren't influenced by head-to-head contests--they consider each contest to be only a single, equally-weighted event."

German Chancellor Adolph Hiter said "Yes, we lost to the US; but we defeated #2 ranked France in only 6 weeks." Herr Hitler has been criticized for seeking dramatic victories to earn 'style points' to enhance Germany's rankings. Hitler protested "Our contest with Poland was in doubt until the final day and the conditions in Norway were incredibly challenging and demanded the application of additional forces."

The French ranking has also come under scrutiny. The BCS commented " France had a single loss against Germany and following a preseason #1 ranking they only fell to #2."

Japan was ranked #3 with victories including Manchuria, Borneo and the Philippines.

TT isn't better than Texas IMO even though they BEAT you. See, Im an equal opportunity poster. All they did was beat you but there is an entire season to critique. Therefore we beat them anyway and even beat OSU who gave you guys fits in your OWN turf. We went to theirs and laid the smack down by 20. So in turn that translates to OU moving on up!!!!

And if you really knew me, you would find that I'm not bent out of shape if I wake up tomorrow and you guys move past us. Its just a sport. I have more fun going after people who IMO aren't reasonable and you havent been reasonable.

Well if they're looking into the tie breaker system, with an honest interest in changing it, then yes they do believe something is wrong with it and that they screwed up in allowing it to be written in the way it is.

Of course that's all assuming they actually have any real intention of looking into it with the intention of changing it.

I agree that Tech is better than Texas if they get Texas under extremely difficult circumstances.

I think had Texas played OU at the end of that 4 game stretch they wouldn't have won against OU either.

Sticking your chest out about 3 National titles in the 50's is just laughable as well.

If for some strange reason OU wins the BCS title this year you can go ahead and put a big fat asterisk on that crystal ball. And that goes for any team that wins it this year.

The way I see it, if a team beats you fair and square on the field of play, then you gotta tip your hat and acknowledge that they were better. No excuses, no dropped sure thing INTs, no holding not called, no nothing. If you get beat, then you've been beaten and you gotta acknowledge the fact that the other team is better. If you ask me, I will say Tech is better this year. EOS in my book.
