Lance makes so much more sense in Las Vegas. Let him sink/swim for a season, or at least in a handful of live regular season games. Sitting on the bench approaching free agency in Dallas makes no sense. Never did.

the problem was all the short easy passes he missed. The accuracy overall was terrible. That is on no one else but him

I didn’t get my response in fast enough…lol. Someone said that Jerry said he’s made the 53….little doubt about that.
That’s because he is under contract for only 5 million. He will be the emergency guy and scout team QB, where he does have value when we prepare for a mobile QB. The idea, however, that Jerry will pony up a second QB contract when Lance is A Free agent after this season, is dream stuff. If they thought he had any chance of being our starter or even competing as a starter after having him on the team last year, they would have paid for his 5th year option to have him an extra year, but without a long term commitment. They didn’t. He will be a free agent at the end of this season.

Even if Dak gets his new contract, and I believe he will, it’s time to draft a young QB with plenty of college starting experience in the middle rounds next spring. Develop that guy on the cheap.
