The Cowboys would have been eliminated had they lost that game. How wasn't it an elimination game?

To be an "elimination game" both teams have to be facing elimination. It has to be like a playoff game with the winner moving on and the loser staying home. I could be wrong but I don't think Philly had yet played so even had the Cowboys lost there was still a chance they would still be in contention if Philly did lose. I don't believe the Cowboys entered that game knowing Philly had already won.

Wrong. If the Cowboys are facing elimination, then it's an elimination game for them regardless of the situation for the other team.

Had they pulled out the KC game couldn't they have been resting starters in the last game? You don't think a team that has had their season come down to the last game of the year three years straight understands just how important every single game is?

Had the Cowboys pulled out the KC game they would have looked flat the following week vs St Louis and lost. That's the MO of this team.

Dallas has lost six of these kinds of games with Romo. In 2011 and 2012, we became the first team ever to reach 8 wins in consecutive seasons ranking as low as we did in pass defense and rushing TD. In 2007 and 2009, our defense allowed over a 125 rating in a playoff game. Teams are 0-67 when they do that.

So for four of the six losses, they're talking about Romo as if they expected him to do something that no QB has ever done anyway.
