If the Cowboys are facing elimination and not their opponent then it's not a "elimination game."

Yes, it's an elimination game for the Cowboys.

If you see stats for how a player performed in an elimination games, they will include any game where that player's team faced elimination.

Some plays/games count more than others.

Then logically, set a percentage and give those plays more weight. You're ignoring entire games, and well over 90% of all plays, in what can only very loosely be called your analysis.

If one team is facing elimination it's NOT an "elimination game." Romo's "elimination game" record remains 1-6. Most teams face elimination from week 14 on. Some teams have to wait on the results of other games to be mathematically eliminated. Even had the Cowboys lost to Washington they would have had to wait for the result of the Philly game. I don't believe Philly had yet played.

You ignore the most critical games and refuse to separate them from all the great performances Romo has had in lesser games.

The fact that a team is facing elimination makes it an elimination game.

Most teams that are facing elimination do so for weeks having to wait for the results of other games. How is that like a playoff game? An "elimination game" is essentially a playoff game that's played on the final week of the regular season between 2 divisional opponents vying for a playoff spot.

Dude I don't care how you separate the plays, just look at all of them.

An elimination game is a game where one or both teams face elimination from the playoffs or the possibility of making the playoffs. You are just making up convoluted rules.

Wrong. If the Cowboys are facing elimination, then it's an elimination game for them regardless of the situation for the other team.

How much weight can you put on a game where one team faces elimination while the other team has been out of contention for weeks and have packed it in? Sure that game was important for the Cowboys but it meant nothing to Washington who was just playing out the schedule. The previous time the Cowboys played in Washington a playoff birth was on the line for both teams and the Cowboys got beat.

That's how they define it for stats. I didn't make the rule.

I know what game you were referring to and it wasn't an "elimination game." Two years ago on that same field it was an "elimination game."

But, don't worry, KJJ, the other 4 or 5 will come to defend your idiocy.

No need . He has owned this thread. He has led you horses to water, but he can't make you think.

lol...This makes sense to the nobody that I know of. Of course, the others will be here to try and figure out what that means.

I always learned that once you are eliminated, you are eliminated. There is no other elimination game...you are done.

That should be: I'm not referring to a specific game.
