And nobody has said Dak has been a peak playoff performer, but we should recognize it's more than just him. This past year the offense at least made some noise & tried to come back in the 2nd half, but the defense never provided any support. The running game also never stepped up to help in the playoff games against SF. Again, I'm not saying Dak didn't need to be better, but not every QB can be Brady or Rodgers, so the whole team has to step up too.

How is it a historic choke when no QB in the history of the NFL playoffs has won when the defense gave up 6 TDs in the first 7 possessions? This means, by your definition, every single QB in the history of the NFL would qualify as a choke artist if presented this situation.

Just because he suddenly woke up and scored a bunch of garbage points does not save him from that. Dak obviously bears his share of blame, but the defense also gave up a 16 play, 65 yard TD drive & an 11 play, 93 yard TD drive, so how is it the defense doesn't also bear some blame?

And while you acknowledge the offense finally woke up in the 2nd half, can you say the same about the defense?

Face it, the defense let the team down too. We were down 21 points at half, and while that's a tough deficit, it would have been possible to overcome it with some defensive help.

Staubach was surrounded by several hall of famers and members of all decade teams. Aikman had several as well, not as many, but he had many all pro players on D and along the O line and skill position players. Several deserve to be in the hall.

Both Romo and Prescott have had a couple, but not nearly as many in the salary cap era. JJ just can’t get it done, the game’s passed him by, same for his idiot son.

True , but his reluctance to let the ball go unless he sees visible separation between WR and defender is a big drawback , which could be one of the reasons for low INTs . In today’s NFL those QBs who throw their receivers open or deliver to a spot only where receiver can get it is more successful. Good defenses take away his 1st read and then he is in scramble or panic mode

Do you realize that if Dak's INT % is the same as another QB, and we were to find Dak's INT % is worse than that other QB against good teams, then that would mean the INT % of that other QB against bad teams is worse than Dak's? Does it really make the statement you are shooting for to prove that the other QB can't hold up as well against bad teams?

Besides, nobody is claiming Dak is as good as Brady or Rodgers anyway, they are just saying his stats in this particular category have been among the best

and you came to that conclusion how? not saying is mahomes, or brady or rodgers accuracy and anticipation, but you just described QBs 4-15.

and some of this makes no sense. ok, if they take away his first read, so if you know this, then NFL coaches for sure know this and for sure they will game plan that way, and for sure Dak would suck every game, but yet his stats say otherwise....but I am sure the response is its garbage time stats, so he is a top 5 QB in stats, just because of garbage time. yet not other QB has garbage time?


again, not defending Dak. he leaves a lot to be desired, but some of the generalizations are way too outrageous.

I never said the defense didn't deserve blame they were awful. But this is a thread bragging about Dak's interception rate, and what some try to do is absolve Dak of all blame in that game because he tried to make a comeback. If it were a basketball team It'd be like being down 50 and cutting it to 25. No one is giving you credit for that. It was too late.
