lmao @ all the OSU backers out there..first and foremost, OSU deserves absolutely NOTHING..you want to be GUARANTEED a spot (this year at least) in the title game? go undefeated and you dont have to blame anybody. OSU had their chance and they blew it.
A small part of me kind of would like to see OSU play LSU..just so the whole world could see what most of us already know would happen, a dismantling. A very small part, that is.
I could not care less about any of these 3 teams involved, however, for PURE entertainment purposes, LSU vs Bama WITHOUT question will provide the best game. These two teams are absolutely STACKED with talent. I am more than ok with being selfish, let me get to see the best game college football can put together two times in one year, I will take it. Hell yeah!

I don't really have a problem with somebody saying that Stanford should be playing in the NC game. I don't really agree that they do but I would not have a problem if that was who was selected. I have a problem with picking a team who has already lost to LSU to play in the NC from the same conference in the SEC. That I don't agree with.

OSU lost to Iowa State
Bama is more talented, better coached, and clearly a better team...
BCS is designed to pit the 2 best teams in the country..it does NOT matter what conferences the teams play in..it does NOT matter if you won your conf championship..it does NOT matter if you already lost to the #1 team in the country
the two best teams ARE - LSU and Alabama

NCAA does this with baseball, basketball and lower division of football yet the top football division is determined by a poll?

I wish both teams would lose.
For a 1-loss team to get a nod over an SEC 1-loss team, it would probably have to be Ohio St, Michigan, USC, Texas or Oklahoma. I don't think schools like OSU are going to get the respect from the polls and the BCS that they are due, especially against a team that recently won a NC.
Having said that, Alabama is the only hope we have of anyone giving LSU a real game. LSU would crush OSU like a worm. They have like 10 good NFL prospects on their roster. If LSU had a good QB, they'd be among the best teams we've ever seen. And yet they're probably only slightly better than Bama.
It will be ugly, but probably half the guys starting in that game will also be on Sunday. There will be as much defensive talent on the field in one college game as we've seen in years.
