And Switzer has more. Will McClay was asked about Lucky (by Norm a few hours ago on the Ticket).
McClay said it was an "ability" cut. ...
Agreed and well said.Isn't it funny all the same people claiming this absolutely had to be done as some sort of message, now are whining it's some kind of dysfunction?
News flash, you look stupid too.
You don't wait until day 1 of camp to cut someone because of ability especially if they are healthy and have been with you for years. Will McClay was asked about Lucky (by Norm a few hours ago on the Ticket).

So I'd assume you would say the same thing if it was Zeke?Lucky Whitehead's actions prior to this incident made it hard to have his back.
Damage control.
The organization goofed.
Dont matter if it's Brad Sham this looks bad and if this was a better player folks would be itching to high heavens about it. I'm a believer that if you stay consistent you will avoid most of this type of stuff. If they would either give everybody a fair shake or cut folks with no regards it's nothing none of us could say but this just looks bad no matter how some see it because of his talent. From Brad Sham

This is crap.
The organization needs to own that they goofed. Instead it appears they intend to obfuscate.
This is the only thing I've been saying from the start. Some acting like we are upet over the cut when it's just the silliness of how it all went down that is the problem.Absofrickinlutely they did.
Did the guy deserve to be cut? Sure, but not for something he didn't do.
And that is absolutely what happened.
