Well at least this opens a roster spot for someone who might not be as stupid. If it was a culmination then obviously there were a lot of other issues. Time to find someone else.

Please. Harris was outstanding the year he made the probowl.

He made the Pro-bowl in 2016 as a special teamer. What was outstanding about his 2016 season? There were several players who had more special teams tackles than him.

That isn't the point but as we can see some of y'all are clearly being selfish and know wouldn't want the same to happen to you regardless of how incompetent you were at your job. If he is innocent I rather him be beat out not this madness. This is wrong if he is innocent period.

You just don't like the point. He wasn't good enough. Hopefully for him he is innocent and this stuff gets cleared up.

I support what you are saying, but it is not practical.

A good chunk of NFL players are drawn from populations where they are not exactly set up for success.

A lot of them have used their athleticism to get themselves a chance to break out of their situations, but they cannot leave their previous lives behind once they "make it".

For all of the NFL and even Dallas' bluster about "character", they all know that there is not a team that can avoid trouble.

I have more of an issue of making it too much of the philosophy.

A couple of character risks, provided they can play at an acceptable level, okay.

But three, four, five, six even seven players that will be unreliable and unavailable due to suspension?

Despite what Jerry Jones says about preparing for suspensions, that is no way to run a team.

I guess our perspectives are different. Your angle is one of being victim. Mine is opportunity to make incredible amount of money (more than 99% of society) for playing a SPORT. If player doesn't have the mental capacity to understand that not only are they setting themself up the rest of their life but their family and their children family then I question if that person should be one getting that opportunity. At some point in this process & I do think its coming, the league will start to ban these players. The NBA doesn't have nearly the problem and neither does baseball.

Your point is dog poo that you wouldn't want for yourself so spare me. I said nothing about him being good enough or not so go elsewhere with the made up narratives.

Good.

Let's hope the others get the message.

What message is that exactly? That if you were planned on not making the roster anyways, any arrest or violation will just expedite the process? Hardly a message at all. The message is still clear: If you have talent or in a position of need, you will not get cut. Damien Wilson brandished a weapon at someone and is still here. Carroll got a DWI and is still here. Why? Because they are needed. Whitehead was a spare and not needed.

He wasn't going to make the final 53 anyways....likely not even make it to the final cuts.

He is now free to enroll in shoplifting school to master his new found career...I mean who in their right mind wouldn't swap an NFL career for a career in convenience store shoplifting.

Not really equivalent. The NFL has over twice as many players as MLB does and almost 5 times as many players as the NBA.

What is made up? He isn't good enough. That isn't made up.

It's a makeup call for him missing out after an excellent 2015 season.

I assumed from your post that you were talking about the probowl in 2016 - the one that honors 2015 performance. You are talking about the 2017 probowl.

Professional baseball as a whole does, but MLB does not. There are 30 MLB teams with 25 man rosters(40 man expanded rosters).
Exactly each player whether in MLB or Single A Ball all fall under the same CBA and ultimately are "property" of their respective MLB Teams. Not trying to fight you just throwing it out there.
