What is made up? He isn't good enough. That isn't made up.
The made up part is you saying I mentioned or implied anything about his skill. I said I just rather him get beat out instead of this grandstanding some hype about in this thread. Like @Blackspider214 said why they didn't cut the other cats? They need them so this grandstanding does nothing for me like it does for some.

So why didn't they cut him earlier in the offseason? They knew Switzer was gonna be the guy, so why'd they keep him around?

There's a thing called injuries and prospects not living up to their hype.

Personally, my *guess* is that they didn't like the people that Lucky was hanging around with and the dog theft incident made them very suspicious of that and possibly the fact that the dog was kidnapped for ransom because of something that Lucky did (again, possible).

Then this incident came along and he was skating on thin ice and combined with the issues that EE, Lewis, Irving, etc. have had they cut the chord.

I just have a problem with getting things wrong. Cutting a guy who may very well had nothing to do with any of this is as bad as keeping a guy that did something very illegal and violent that there was no excuse for him doing.

We did our best to keep Josh freaking Brent, Randy Gregory and Rolando McClain. If you want to set a standard for accountability, it starts with getting things right. It's like Parcells said 'I'm not interested in being fair, I'm interested in being right.'

Exactly each player whether in MLB or Single A Ball all fall under the same CBA and ultimately are "property" of their respective MLB Teams. Not trying to fight you just throwing it out there.

I'm not arguing. Just trying to get an apple to apple comparison, but that really isn't possible. Most people aren't going to know if a player in single A ball gets arrested. They will know if someone in the bigs does and there are fewer of them than there are NFL players. The perception is the NFL has this problem while the other sports don't. I just don't think that is entirely accurate.

What did I make up? You must have read my posts wrong. I was the one who brought up his skill or lack there of. I didn't say or imply that you did. I said he wasn't good enough and you responded that wasn't the point. You just don't care for that point.

And a more serious violent charge that he supposedly admitted to.

And what's your point? It certainly isn't more serious than things others have done and still remained employed by an NFL team. Whitehead has had numerous infractions and has not responded well according to Garrett. They needed to make an example out of someone and Lucky was perfect. Perfect player at the perfect time.

This

Basically the front office/coaches wanted (needed) to save face and this gave them the opportunity to do so yet there's a chance this incident may not even be true. If Lucky "wasn't good enough" and had other various issues, they should've cut him earlier.

I was never impressed by him, and the writing was on the wall when Switzer was drafted. His incident just made it happen sooner.

So the last straw was being accused of a crime he didn't commit?

This organization is awesome sometimes. So we let dip wads like Carroll go unpunished for a DUI but cut a guy for a crime he might not have committed.

Hahahahahhaa
