It’s not the 90’s anymore, big physical LB’s are a thing of the past. 3 down LB’s that can’t run and cover are dinosaurs at this point. LVE fits the mold of modern LB perfectly. He’s not a finished product yet, but he’s got the length and strength so improve on tacking on blocks. Just needs technique works to use his length.

only way I would take him is if we can trade down into the very early 2nd and also get left guard Aaron Hernandez and a 4th on top of that

The ignore feature on any internet message board is cheese and shouldn't even exist. That's what moderators are for, to ban the actual spammers who post stupid things like mass spam, porn, mass off-topic and political threads, cursing at other users, etc.

Except when the moderators tell members to ignore other members instead of getting into trouble arguing with them and calling names like you did earlier.

If you wish to be here during the draft do NOT continue to call people morons just because they do not agree with you. Actually don't call people on here morons for any reason unless you want benched.

And many taxes should not exist either, but they do, just to add cheese to the pockets of some. If someone feel harassed or feels insulted, then they use of the ignore button is a great thing. I won't try to convince you otherwise, because it will not do any good. But I am glad it is there, and there is a very good reason for it regardless of what you think.

Rashaan Evans is better than him, that's all that matters. I just think 19 is a little rich for him bottom 1st top 2nd is more his spot. His tape show good athleticism, but also showed he struggled to get off blocks. We need playmakers on this team. Especially on defense I'm sick of watching this defense be bottom of the league in takeaways every year.

I want a defensive player in the first round for sure, but please, NO LVE. This guy is a JAG who compares well to the JAGs who backed up Sean Lee for so long.
There was an article Monday maybe, saying several members of the team management believe he' the 2nd coming of Urlacher, so you might want to stock up on your favorite beverage just in case you need drown some sorrows tomorrow night!

Out of curiosity, what NFL team previously hired you as a scout? I mean, you're obviously such an expert when it comes to evaluating potential draft picks I assume you have loads of experience.

Probably not. But lets use some logic on this one a minute. Lets see,........... who do you think the Cowboys brain trust would be more inclined to listen to come draft day.......... The scouting department with their years of experience who do nothing but scout prospective players and are paid handsomely for their efforts? Or........... random internet guy? o_O
and the answer IS......................Sean Lee.

Man you guys are riding the OP pretty hard. Is there something I'm missing??

agree. Maybe if you trade down and get a premium 2nd and a mid rounder then you consider a lesser player like this. But standing pat and taking LVE at 19 would be the second worst case scenario for us behind drafting a WR at 19 which would make me commit suicide.
Well, I've never wanted us to draft a WR at 19, but now I'm inclined to rethink my position.

If he had that much upside he would be touted as a top 5 pick.

Kuechly and Urlacher weren't even drafted that high.

This is all about projection. That's how the draft works.

That's why a guy like Demarcus Ware can come from nowhere and be a top 15 draft pick.
