He just said on GAC that things aren't looking to well for Glenn and it is going to be awhile before Terry Glenn even starts running again.
--------------

Im starting to think he isnt even going to be a option for us at any point this season.

Its November and the guy still cant even run. It sucks we didnt show more patience with his injury from the get go.

I hear ya and would tend to agree... as a matter a fact I posted that a few times....

I am beginning to think it wouldnt have mattered... the knee was gonna breakdown anyways..

It sucks that the team didn't have more forsight to see this guy was done after last year.
BP repeatedley stated his knee problem was degenerative throught the season.
How good would Stallworth or Welker look in a Cowboy uni right now?

Screw both those guys. I cant stand them.

I just hope at some point we can get Stanback on the field this year.

He has a great size and speed combo and if we can get just a few big plays out of him this season I will be happy.

Signing the perennially injured Stallworth would not have been well-received here (I think).

I don't think this guy has any more insight into Glenn's injury than any of the rest of us.

He's done...regardless of whether he plays or not...the guy is finished.

or Kevin Curtis
btw, weren't there reports that Glenn was running full sprints? I frankly don't trust the Dallas media anymore, so I don't know what to believe

He said he talked to Terry Glenn after the Patriots game and Glenn was very optimistic about returning and being able to run soon.

He just reported about 15 minutes ago that is no longer the case and it doesn't look like Glenn will be running for "awhile". (how ever long that is)

If he is going to make a return we would be lucky to get him back by mid december imo.

Now the looming roster spot issue.

I would hate to just cut bowen or ayodele.

If Terry Glenn cant play he should be put on IR and that spot should be given to Johnson.

I am a big fan of glenn, so that is a bummer to say that, but it is reality.

Wade gave a timetable of two more weeks before gauging the status of Glenn. The plan is to build up his quad again unless something has changed. So I guess we'll see in two weeks.

Yup...Curtis would have made a fine (and cheap) addition as well.

Cheap?

We would have had to send our 2nd round pick to Miami for him. He looks terrific right now, it is hard to correlate what he has done in ne to what he might have done here.

He is a very good player though.

doh, I just realized you said curtis and not welker!!! lol...Curtis was given a pretty good contract.

My mind goes directly to Miles Austin, he is in his second year and he should be ready to help out not to mention a year ahead of stanback. I would love to see him running across the middle of the field and making plays after the catch.

Curtis signed a 6yr 32mil deal. There was nothing cheap about him.

Walker signed a 5-yr 18mil deal. There was nothing cheap about him either.

Stallworth is about the only cheap one of the bunch...and that was a 6yr 33mil bogus deal that could be as little as 1 year for 3.6.

He seems to have been spot on in his Carpenter analysis in training camp.

We all knew that Carpenter wasn't the starter by the end of training camp. That's like saying Brad Johnson wasn't going to start.
