Machota - Camp observations through the first five practices

"Highest Deep (20-Plus Yards)"

Did you literally quote my post and then do this? Stupidity you say? No kidding.

That's great if I was talking about the sheer number of passes being thrown and not the QB actually completing them. You know, data that actually says something about the efficiency of throwing super deep balls which was my point?

You don't say. Lol.
OMG....are you so desparate to respond so quickly without even looking at the stats.... it showed Dak being 4th most efficient QB since 2022 in deep balls!!!

and I showed you that its average of 4% of total throws. as if that's going to make a difference in a football game so significantly over 17 games!!!

but I get it, you are so desparate to be part of the Dak Hate Cult, that you just going to jump on anything, wet your pants before taking them off to pee. I get it. your emotional state is not stable. your desire for being accepted is dripping from your comments, which lack any credibility based on what you yourself have done. but the cult, never questions. they just make up stuff and all nod in unison....

this time stop day drinking and read the actual article. don't pee too early, you will wet your pants.

Another article for you!!! read it!

You can't expect Prescott to get the deep ball going with only two #1 WRs on the field.

Even franchise QBs need help.
Yeah he needs an All Pro TE and Rb to open things up and an All Pro OL to give him time.. Also we All Pro CBs who just lock down any WR thrown at us.

I’m gonna slightly disagree. I think they need to take the shackles off. Just let him play. It’s just my observation maybe he likes playing this way but in college he was way more free to do what he wants. If there’s a first down go get it. I think Mike was a stickler for wanting it his way because that was his only worth. He offered nothing so if you don’t run his offense why is he needed? I’m not saying make him a threat running but at least move around in the pocket some. His feet should always be moving.
I wont completely disagree, but its tough to have it both ways. Get your QB under center more and its a lot easier to slide your pocket, run some bootlegs, be effective with the play action, etc. All the things that help get those DBs playing up and out of shell coverage, or simply keeps 3 LBs on the field instead to create easier reads. I know Dak, like most modern day QBs love to play out of the shotgun because you get a better view of the field, but you really limit your run play options, you give backers an easier read on play actions, and put a lot more pressure on your QB to create plays.

Total guess here, but I get the feeling teams with true mobile qbs are going to continue to play 70% out of the gun, while the rest of the league plays more under center. IMO this is what Detroit did last year to get so many guys running wide open....well one of many things they did well.

The X factor here and something Shottenheimer has mentioned a few times that seems to be flying under the radar is more snaps out of the pistol. I have no idea how much it's actually used in todays game, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see a notable uptick in 2025. That could be a middle ground option to show more balance on offense, but also stick to Dak's more natural playing style.

He's only had 9 years. Don't jump to conclusions.

I heard dak was throwing interceptions intentionally to build the confidence within the secondary from all the defensive changes in the offseason

Yeah I’ve been hearing talk of the pistol a lot which I don’t recall at all in previous seasons.

Wait I lied? About what exactly lol? You can say I didn’t disagree with you but calling it lying is rather arrogant of you.

And my bad on duper take that out lol.

And why 30 yards? 20 yards is consistently considered a deep ball throw…unless you Dak and it’s 30 lol.
Hey, if you want to see where you avoided my question multiple times as well as seeing the data I pulled for Dak going back to 2020, it's here. It was a simple, "do most years look bad or decent" question. If you can't answer that right away, you don't want to admit the answer. And you didn't, ...... eventually, lol.

When you're constantly under pressure, it's almost impossible to go deep. You both are not dumb, so you know that. It's an agenda you both have.

Why not call out the O-line for the *** kicking they are getting? Or why not praise the rushers for constantly being in the backfield?
I'm thrilled about the news we've gotten with Donovan's rushing. You still expect your 100M man to create. I think Dak is good but good isn't good enough unless you have a legendary defense or HC

Im excited about what Ezeiruaku is going to bring to the defense. Him and Parsons are going to be a problem for a lot of teams on 3rd down. Hopefully we see some improvement from the DT position once we get to the pre season.
