No, im talking about the basic NFL quarterback rankings. They all have him listed in the top 10. PFF has him listed at 7th. All these people can't be lying.
There's never going to be a definitive ranking because it's so subjective.

I don't think any of them are lying. I just think we all have our opinion on things.

PFF has him 7th, The QB Index has him 9th, Mad Dog has him out of the top 10, Orlovsky has him outside of the top 10, Chris Simms has him 9th...

It's just so subjective and nobody can really be right. That's what makes it fun. Everyone can do it.

As his crap play in the first 3 quaters when the other team doesnt play soft prevent.

Heck this comback argument is so laughable, even the Moderators pointed it out in games of the 2022 season: "hey now they playing soft prevent and Daks picking them apart". And moderators dont usually criticize any player. Because the casual viewer wants to be entertained.
Really? Because earlier there was a thread PRAISING Romo for all of his GWD and 4th quarter comebacks. Even though half the time they were behind because he threw 4 picks. lol.

And I am sorry if you start the whole garbage time argument I am out. If you bring a game to within 3 points after being down by 20 plus points. The other team isnt playing prevent. You are picking them apart. No coach in the world is going to let his team give up 20 plus points "to make it a game".

Please, stop with the Dak Troll stuff because he has some fans. It is not unusual for fans to be fans because of certain players.
Ok. But one was an admitted Troll. I’ll make sure I don’t directly call them out. Thanks

I think its already crazy enough to give Dak the credit for Ws. Its a team thing. All I was pointing out was that the guy said he's never done anything when it mattered. And he has. Not like a Brady obviously I am just pointing out that Dak has won games for the Cowboys. With the help of Zeke, Cooper, etc. Thats all. Football is literally the ultimate team game. To say he hasnt done anything when it mattered is insane though.

To answer your second question. Which I am surprised you even asked. If a team scores a game winning field goal, no it shouldnt count against Dak lol. Somehow though. It does. Unless hes playing LB or DT or DE then absolutely it should not. W/L are not a QB stat. Never have been.

Yep so many players are involved in winning and losing games. Having said that the media more than anyone credits QB's with wins and loses and while they do play a big part in the game there are so many things that are outside of their control.

Wentz wasn't even on his list this year, so he his opinion has clearly changed, and that's okay.

Yup. And its now used to aid in peoples agenda of judging a QB. QB throws for 450 yards 5 touchdowns and loses and the loss goes on him? How? lol

If that loss should not count against Dak (which I agree with) then I don't believe Dak should get the credit for a GWD if Zeke runs a 30 yards TD in (Steelers 2016), right?

It has to work both ways. GWD is a stupid stats to give to solely the QB.

You can't just give them credit for the glory and minimize their impact in the loses, ya know what I mean?

The comparison is Brady to Prescott? I compare Prescott to Cousins, Murray, Jackson and not to Brady, Mahomes and Rodgers or even the young guns Allen, Burrow, Herbert and Lawrence.

It is interesting that Lawrence gets little mention because of the awful franchise he plays for that set him back by hiring Meyer.

McFarland lost his argument when he said that Prescott may not have shown up in the big moments but that's what really puts QB's on the map. That's what has kept Rivers off that list because when I watched him play, particularly throw the ball, he was as good as any I've ever seen. Comparing Prescott to Brady in one game is like Romo to P. Manning in one game.

It has always been when the competition is the stiffest, that is when the truly great ones will shine. Prescott has not done that yet and all the excuses in the world are not going to change that. However, that does not mean he will not start doing that.

I have never heard of this Mad Dog character and I hope to never hear form him again. What a whiny voice. Might have just as well gotten Gilbert Gottfried to do that.

Its hilarious to me how people compare Dak's 5 complete seasons to other veterans 10, 12, and 15 seasons. But when you put Dak's 5 seasons to other quarterbacks 5 seasons he runs neck and neck with them and even had better stats than some of the same quarterbacks that have turned their careers around.

The first 5 years, Dak, Brees, and P. Manning all had ONE playoff win, but at this point Dak had better overall numbers, yet.... people will say "let Dak go" but those same hypocrites didn't say those teams should have "let those other QBs go" and they had lesser numbers AND winning percentages than Dak at this same point in their careers.

Nobody can make sense of such hypocrisy.

I believe the NFL has an official rankings list based upon stats and percentages they've added up. They do this for every position based on the numbers. Offensive and Defensive rankings as well.

I can only find the QB index on NFL.com.

Maybe they do it the way you're describing when the season starts.

By the way.. unless you are at the game screaming at the top of your lungs to try to screw up the other team's signals or just to unnerve its players, whether you root wholeheartedly, blindly, or with one eye open doesn't make one iota's difference in the outcome of the games.
Iota is an underrated word.

Guess who's going to be watching Dak take snaps as a starter for the Dallas Cowboys.

@MountaineerCowboy
@acr731
@PAPPYDOG
@TwentyOne
@DeaconMoss
@Risen Star

.Yes, the whole circle of hate will be watching Dak this year. You know why? Because nothing they say can stop Dak from being our starter. So if they want to get their blood pressure up watching a guy they don't like...let them. They'll be the ones needing medication sooner or later.
